 Hello everyone,

Well I enjoyed making my last flat shaker so much that I made two more that afternoon..they really are that quick, depending on what else you add of course, but I kept mine relatively simple..

I started off with Washi tapes, I love this stuff..

Nothing to do with the ocean in patterns, but the colours are right up there..

That is what one of the 4 challenges were, to make or use these colours..

So I was just minding my own business and a prism poked its way throgh my sun catcher at the window..

Just made me feel happy and made me think of Pollyanna..lovely movie with Haley Mills..

Anyway, back to my shaker..same as yesterday, cello bag, trimmed all sides,  double sided tape around all edges and filled with pretty things..added a little red crab..

Even those tiny little micro beads stay put.. and Stanley payed a visit, perched on his pole right in front and his brothers are flying around and probably making a racket as gulls do, especially when you buy fish n chips and go up to the beach to eat them, boy do they come around then..

Although they did stick to the seagulls wings, that is okay..

Oh, I covered my crab over, but you can see the starfish..

There's my little crab and the anchor I added on as well, cut two them and joined the chain and it was a bit small..

Gosh, I love the colour combo of sequins, they are so sparkly IRL..

And there we are all finished...

Shaker #2 for Geko Galz Facebook

This one can go into.." Colours of the Sea"..." All Creatures great and small" [my birds and crab and starfish]
and " make a shaker"

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back tomorrow with number three..

Oh just brilliant and I love the gorgeous images, so beachy and wonderful and your right, fish and chips never taste so good as down on the beach, yummy, but those gulls are a nightmare. Love this card and can't wait for number 3.xx

This is as gorgeous as the first one Chrissy, the card design would be fabulous even without the shaker element but what fun for the recipient discovering all those little extras (love the crab!)

Another stunning shaker card Chrissy. Love all the sea side elements and the colours are amazing. Fabulous detail as always.
Thank you for your lovely message regarding my sister. She still has to have someone to help her walk to the loo. Also her left arm is a bit wobbly. So they are keeping her in the hospital.
Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx
