LOST IT,BUT IT'S STILL THERE...DT

 Hello everyone,

Time for a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON and our lovely hostess this week is Imke and she has chosen the theme...WREATH [any season you want]..

Well, as I was on a Halloween kick and it is October, I went Halloween..but got a bit lost in the process...and I'm sorry there are lots of photos, more than usual..

So I started as always by filling up a tray with as many die cuts as I felt like cutting, and there were lots...

I made the frame with about 4 layers and ran the last layer through my spider web embossing folder and the castle through a brick wall embossing folder, gives great texture..

My moon was water coloured, I try inks and other stuff, sprays etc, but I'm so comfortable with water colour.

My pumpkins were cut with coloured paper for a headstart and I just shaded them..

All done..

I adore this branch die and it made a perfect frame for my wreath..

Added my die cut in black, witch to the moon..

Back to the frame where the pumpkins, castle and a silver spiderweb were added..

Then leaves onto the pumpkins, skulls and cute ghosts and the odd bat or two..

Here shows the brick walls of the castle were rubbed with my finger with embellishment mousse..

The spider web shinning away and the Bats wings had a glow..

A bit closer of the bat wings...

THEN I DID THIS....
I must have zoned out big time...

I found this box so decided to..

paint it black..

I filled these tiny bottles with ink, to make a poison potion..

And after splattering with gold paint I added my wreath...

The tiny bottles nestled into the bottom corner, with few leftover pumpkins..

I die cut and added houses with gold card behind the windows to look light lights..

Then decide to added some wheat stems, so die cut them and coloured with markers...

Then my Cheery Lynn fence, the best ever,
that was put away in the wrong place and just found it..

Looking down inside...

Used some twinr ribbon with leaves for a frame around the box and added more bats and a church on the left side..

And there have a wreath....inside a box..

So there we go, that was so much fun to make, I had a blast..

Thank you so much for stopping by..

I love how you created your own Halloween wreath, great tips on how to stretch your stuff. I also like the effect of the embossed bricks on the haunted house. There’s so much fantastic detail, and the finished result is absolutely jaw dropping.

It was a box. A plain ole' box...and you turned it into a piece of art. You are amazing! There is so much about this I love, but I think my favorite things are the tiny bottles of poison. Brilliant!

A very detailed project Chrissy. Not into Halloween myself but you have made the background amazing. We went to my son's wedding last week and stayed a few extra days to visit friends and family. So now playing catch up!!
