CIRCLES EMBELLISHMENTS..DT..

 Hello everyone,

A new challenge over at As You Like It  and Lynne is our lovely hostess this fortnight with the theme...

Circle Embellishments..buttons, pearls, sequins etc..

As I'm from a different planet I just plunged in with my thoughts and this is my project....

I used cogs..I .love cogs, the shapes and textured look about them, the cut out bits and they always lead me to Steampunk!!..what a can I say..

These cogs always get painted when I have to colour them, starting with Ochre..

Then burnt something..

Brown and red mixed...

Gold and copper to finish and they are lovely and thick with paint and all crunchy and strong..

sorted out my papers,,

Cogs all dry..

Onto this fabulous image which if I remember correctly was from Gecko Galz..I would have lost too much of him if I cut him where I should have so I added the smaller half onto the back of the card, so my card was decorate front and back..and inside too.

Cogs added, they look so rusty..

These cogs were just the right size for inside my slimline..

Once again typewriter keys..

Alpha stickers..

Added real metal nuts here and there..

And there he is proudly sharing round embellishments that  I love..cogs and nuts..
