Hello everyone,
November has arrived, over here at least, November the 1st 2021 11am Monday morning.. and this post is scheduled, I'm not home, having a day out with my daughter and lunch...I was ready at 7am..lol..
So time for another challenge over at CLASSIC DESIGN and with our fabulous sponsor this month..
Now I knew I had some of those little Sketch pads of images and never coloured, as to me, they were so small, but of course over the years you get a bit better and fished them out of my store cupboard and presto, I'm in love all over again..this is from Set 1 - Vintage Boys.
This cute little image is called Vegetable Patch and can still buy it, which is awesome..
This little fellow doing the digging in the vegetable garden, well, I just had to colour him..
I fussy cut some extra carrots so the dirt and carrots spiller over the edge of the image..
I used markers, a variety of them from different brands etc and plodded along...
Lots and lots of marker dots for the dirt...and love his little bird friend just waiting for that fat juicy worm to come up...
I made a panel in the background with wood patterned papers and add a cloud border across the top..I also gave his shirt some bolder stripes with a black pen..
And that's it..done..

I love these boys, fab colouring
The boy images from LOTV are so cutr, but not too cute for those grown up men. This looks gorgeous, love how you added extra carrots and colored the dirt, for a realistic look.
I love these images and your beautiful coloring. What a wonderful garden you've created, it looks like that chubby little bird has a good eye for those juicy worms.
