ALTERED BOX FOR LRW..DT

 Hello everyone,

Second to last project for this year for LITTLE RED WAGON  and it is our lovely Kate who is our hostess this week and her theme IS.." Do they know it's Christmas" - Christmas Creations..

So I altered a box..

I never primed this box like the last one, the Autumn one, as Gesso and these chalk paints do not get on, so just brushed this soft blue right onto the box...

One coat... covered.

Went in a bit darker inside and added white along the bottom for snow...

Cut free hand, some snow banks and added trees...

The first panel went right to the back and the next panel in the middle....

Gave it a good splattering too....

Looking down onto the layers..

Added snowflakes and my favourite Sleigh and Deer dies..

Lots of recycled plastic snowflakes..

The sleigh and presents were die cut several times and paper pieced back together mixing up the colours...

A few more snowflakes scattered around the edges..

looking down again..

And all finished..sometimes you just have to stop..

So come on, bring your Christmas projects over to Little Red Wagon
HERE  and join in..

Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed my boxed scene which is sitting on a high shelf in my craftroom keeping watch..

I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx
