VINTAGE CHRISTMAS TREE...

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, coming to you via schedule from a very hot Napier New Zealand..phew, and I'm having the family for dinner tonight 3 courses, I must be mad...if you want pudding/dessert bring your own..lol..

So I'm  here to share a vintage Christmas Tree card..

This Marianne Createables die is an awesome tree..it cuts and embosses..

Then gave is a good dressing of Oxide inks, just gentle though..

Looking pretty good....

Then splattered water on it...

Nice!..

Time to decorate using left overs from my Santa's cards...wreath trims and bows...

Lots of pretty colours....

On they go...

Now for some pretty gems...

And ta daaa...

Making a big card, A4 folded in half..I like the bigger cards.
and chose these beautiful stripe papers from Lost and Found..not a lot left but had the pad for years..

Matted onto green card stock and sorted out some lace...

Coming along nicely....

Die cut presents but didn't feel like colouring them so paper pieced them with foils instead...

Not hard and quite relaxing...

Finding placement which was not easy, until...

I had all my bits and pieces ready..

Then found things went smoothly from there....

So loaded everything on in layers...

And in the end, I was happy...

Thank you so much for stopping by..

All my things for tonight are prepared and in the fridge for tonight...we are having prawn cocktails...scallops in a cream and sherry sauce....and roast leg of lamb with all the bits..but right now,  I'm enjoying sitting here writing posts with the fan blowing gently on high speed down my back...

See you Wednesday..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Putting elements together and to find the proper place for everything can be quite challenging sometimes, but you found the perfect spot for it all. A gorgeous, big and well designed card.
