HAPPY RETIREMENT...

 Hello everyone,

Oh, what a great few days I have had, talk about tag making, I went quite silly over it, and had a great time water colouring trees and making snow mounds and stuff, but not today, today I have another easel to share for a retirement and went silly over them as well, and made several..but, first up.

I went online and found heaps of pictures which I printed and fussy cut for a box of ephemera..

Hats, watering cans, wheelbarrows, garden seats, stuff like that..
and all prepared for a marathon of retirement and easel cards..

I had already cut and stored loads of papers for any size that I make,
into colours as well that match, or shouldn't, but do.

Rusty brown spots and black and white gingham.

Then made my cluster of ephemera, those tiny snowdrops are very cute, cut beautifully and fun to colour and I have no idea where they came from..

The spade and fork from Marianne design..

All planted at the bottom of the card, the sun hat from the net.

A bit closer..

Added the sentiment, also off the net and a garden fence with more snowdrops.

Added a wee bird with a black gem eye.

Gave the spade another bird and looking down the card..
the congratulations and retirement are dies, awesome size too.

Right side..

The bird on the spade.

and the card all closed up with its envelope..

So, there you go..
Thank you so much for stopping by, I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

An awesome rustic garden scene. Your coloring of the die cuts is superb, I think those garden tools look very realistic. A well put together card that will be cherished by its receiver.

Chrissy,

Your retirement card is absolutely adorable. The gingham check and polka dot papers send me back make me think of a romantic time where ladies put on their straw hat, gloves and apron as they tend to the flower beds.

This fold is PERFECT for your card. Finishing it off with a white, picket fence, GENIUS!

Hope to see you for our next challenge.
