Hello everyone,
Saturday lunchtime and no dramas today, just the way I like it.. and I'm doing loads of prep as I came up with an idea, never claiming that it was MY idea, it just popped into my, so the conveyer stopped and prep went on full blast..I'll share soon..
Today I'm sharing more birdies and these guys are sitting on a branch..
These birds were cut in red and brown but with white trim.
Some were done red with brown wing, and some were done brown with red wing,
and all had white trim..
Then I gave one a white head and the rest followed suit because I really liked it.
Memory box branch, gosh it is thin,
and does not hold glitter and glue very well..
So I have this die that cuts out these tiny snow things for branches or trees, not this branch, but why not, so gave it a go..
Not perfect, far from it, but it was fun and gave me plenty to do..
and this birdie liked it..
Then wandered in the other direction, as I do, a lot, and printed out sentiments, then just before I cut them straight, I remembered this die set..
Perfect...
Holly was not interested at all, not in the slightest, she just wanted to sleep..
Using distress ink, I made this background, then dropped water droplets onto it.
Then white splattering of ink, much better..
Bases already to go..
Glued on branch number one..
added the bird and sentiment..
Then the second and so forth..
Then there were ten..
added some crystals..
waiting for them to dry...
Ready for envelopes and bags..
Done already to go off to my son's shop..
What a great day....
Thank you so much for stopping by..
Hopefully see you tomorrow..

I thought those branches were the real thing! They're so tiny and cute - and the bird looks so regal sitting on top on them. Pretty, pretty cards.
