And it is only Saturday..
Hello everyone,
So far what a great weekend for crafting, mojo pouring out of the walls, such fun, I have made a big project already, although I had a sneaky start on Friday, and then a Tag..then three more tags that turned into bookmarks..I have roast beef in the oven for dinner tonight, just for me..and a movie planned for later..I did a bit of gardening this morning while waiting for paint and glue to dry and I needed to fill my bin as it gets emptied on Tuesday.....mmmm..Tuesday, that brings me to this project..
So, while I was doing another project, I die cut and coloured Bees..
Hint..always colour the dark grey/black, first, as the yellow will follow and blend right in, other way round, ink smudges..eek.
And there they are my little yellow and black fuzzy bugs, waiting for their wings..
Done..
Then I got side tracked, as I do, and found the box, cut off the flaps, and..
I have a slimline box to redo..
Mmmm, leftover panels...
A dry brush and a little dip into Gesso and paint on randomly..
Picked a stencil.....nope
Honeycomb was needed as I'm using my Bees..
So already to go..
And used Tim Holtz Grit paste, which dries basically clear but with lovely shine..
Ha ha, then covered it all up with ripped up washi tape..
You can still it here...
Cut out a Honey pot from Honey Bee stamps and spoon and sentiment..
Then glued it off the project, something I like to do..
Popped everything in place..
And added 4U ..
Little bee on the string..think he got lost.
And my finished tag..
Thank you so much for stopping by...Mmmmm I can smell the beef..
I'll see you tomorrow..
Luv CHRISSYxx
