Hello everyone,
I found this gorgeous image, for free, from Gecko Galz to use in their monthly card challenge, oh he is beautiful and didn't need much to dress him up at all..
See..
So into my stash to find card stock to match or at least blend in, and found this dark teal,
but, only half a strip..and two dies that just matched the mage as well..
I then inked up the edges of the dark teal with an old, but still going strong
Stampin'up ink..Blue Bayou.
Glued on the die cuts first, panel on top..
Needed some leaves, but not just green ones.
and not these ones, they were not right..too heavey.
Dug deeper in my stash and found this die set from years ago
and the rose leaves were perfect..
See..
But the colour was wrong, so needed to water colour.
Played for a while and this was pretty close to what I was going for..
The panel needed lifting now..
Leaves in place, I was getting pretty excited by now,
building it was so fun..
The little clusters of leaves and flowers..
Top and bottom..
Little resin hearts in rain bow colours,
they pick up the colour of whereever you put them..
So pretty and shiny..
Look at that detail on the unicorn..
So followed that as bet as I could..
Done!!
and sold..and she wants three more..
So, there we go..
