Hello everyone,
This would be the biggest post ever, so I'm whittling it down to three days. the last one being my DT project on Thursday, [my Thursday 1am.. morning time... somewhere?? on Wednesday..
So here we go, bear with me, it was one of those projects that started out great, turned to custard then came alive again after 6 months, there about and then just right for a DT.
Sprinkled Nuvo shimmer powder onto water coloured card stock..
Watered it like my vege garden, sprayed loads on..
It dried and all the colours came through..
Even some flickers of red..
Then sprinkled next colour..
Drowned it and left alone to dry, no tinkering.
Next colour..
Water it...walk away.
I didn't like the first red so sprinkled more powder and drenched again.
same with this..more powder more water..
And kept playing around until I had what I thought were great colours
and what I was looking for..
Die cut the green with the TH leaves..
Using both sheets..
Plain red cardstock for the flower base...
Then die cut and layered up TH daisy top layer in my shimmer powder card and Altenew daisies,
I like to add these babies as they are a perfect companion for the bigger flower..
added the centers using the yellow card after gluing them down..
and die cut these little spider like centers for some other daisies.
And then I had a tray full of loviness that took a long time to get there,
but I'm always so happy that I did as you get such unique colours..
So the was part one, be back with part 2 tomorrow..
thank you so much for stopping by..
Luv CHRISSYxx

I think I should try my brushos to make green paper for my leaves. I think they look lovely when they have different shades of color. And the flowers in red and yellow look beautiful.
You got some fantastic results, but you have so much patience, wow! See you tomorrow for round 2! Hugs, Valerie

They are gorgeous and I so agree doing it that way gives them such a unique look you can't get from inking colored cardstock!
I just love watching your progress and how you put it all together. Off to see the rest!
