Hello everyone,
I've been working behind the scene getting DT work done in advance, I love to do that, then I don't have to think at the last minute..thats not always good. so now I'm relaxed and can just play...
So yesterday that is what I did..I played and made a shaker, with a turtle..
This is a lovely little die set, the base and the shell,
so you can mix it up if you want with colours..
Stunning papers from Stamperia "Songs of the Sea " 12x12 background papers,
double sided and only got the one pad, so the struggle was real..
But this leftover was fun, I cut the center out and it left me with an "L"
Which I used inside the card, no waste.
I had made this shaker panel last year in October but never used it,
so popped it on then added the turtle..
Love this coral set too, cut the base then all those
little red oval rings and glue them on..
Cute..
and effective in the scene along with this real starfish which was sitting in the same box as the shaker panel..
some more die cut coral and reeds..
and a simple gold embossed sentiment which I cut crooked,
simple fix, distress the edges..
This shows the panel a bit more, it was water coloured and smooshed..
then gave it a good shake..
DONE!!..
Thank you so much for stopping by,
I'll see you tomorrow..
Luv CHRISSYxx

I love how you make your shaker cards Chrissy, such a clever idea. This one is gorgeous, love the turtle and the undersea plants, the stunning background papers, all works beautifully with the shining sequins.

Your little turtle is absolutely adorable! Love the layers on your scene for him and the shaker panel adds a brilliant sparkle with it too! Really beautiful card Chrissy!
What a wonderful underwater birthday card. I love the design papers you used, and all those different dies you managed to squeeze onto your creation. It must have taken quite some time to arrange all the tiny pieces, but it certainly paid off as the result is stunning. The sequins are a wonderful addition, and perfect for the shaker card - like tiny bubbles, or maybe the reflection of the sun on the ocean waves. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenges.
Hugs, Veronika
