USE YOUR SCRAPS..DT

 Hello everyone,

Baco to Wednesday again, that week flew by, but in a good way...

I have new kitchen taps, my permanently locked backdoor is unlocked and fixed now and a door stop behind my laundry door and expecting, but not positively, a new clothesline in the near future..it's the little things isn't it..

So, Wednesday, time for a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon and our lovely Brenda is hostess, and her theme this week is " Use your Scraps"  well my friends, my favourite pass time is using scraps, so not hard for me..

First up, I made my panels

The papers are beautiful florals but none of them match

and are slightly odd lengths, so we make the most of it..

and I cut them smaller this time instead of adding to the lengths.

Music sheets were my main background..

and using more scraps of " My Favourite Things " black and white stripes, 

I added a tiny strip on the bottoms for interest..

See..and what is behind panel number one?

It's a pocket,with a thin note book inside..

Added beautiful monarch washi butterflies..

and a shabby ribbon for the look of a closure, 

but it isn't closing anything, just looks right..

die cut a lovely sentiment in pink foil cardstock.and 

a thinking of you on the outside..

and there she is, a tri fold with inside flap and pocket..
