Hello everyone,
I'm sharing a simple but fun tag today for Tag Tuesday..
This stencil was from my friend Janette, I have used it several times but not with paste, so today was the day, and I must say, I really liked it with paste..
Here it is up closer and the paste has a lovely sheen to it,
TH Texture paste - Metallic white.
Die cut some ABC letters and layered them up for this tiny little TH paper doll to sit on..
about three layers I think.
die cut the books in green, put double sided tape on the back, then again in gold,
and popped the pages back in using the gold.
see..
added a little paper doll boy too, so cute.
these are the mini dolls and mini they are, so tiny..
then Cleopatra ( Holly) flopped in!!!
just as I was adding the alphabet beads to the string,
so they went all over the place for 5 mins..
and done..
So glad I kept those beads,
I knew after 12 years I would use them..

Onto the reason I came over, I think the tag looks great, I have never used my stencil even now, love the look of it though so will have to dig out and case this gorgeous creation, oh and the beads, well I have some that a friend sent me years ago, I think the read I love you, heaven knows how deep they are but may try to find, you have inspired me..:) xxx
Chrissy it is just gorgeous. The paste works a treat and I am going to get mine out this week too! Glad Cleopatra (Holly) approved of your tag but maybe needed to assert herself with those beads lol. Thanks for playing along with us at Tag Tuesday.
Gorgeous tag and I love that stencil. I have those alphabet beads too (still never used). Love your Cleopatra...lol.

What an awesome tag! HA! You cracked me up with the 12-year bead comment. Yep, it does feel good to finally use something you've kept for so long.
The stencil does look great in the paste, love the books and giving them the gold touch makes them look vintage. The beads were the perfect touch to top them off and another reason not to get rid of our stuff, at least that is what I keep telling myself when I can't purge :)
