Hello everyone,
My weekend went so fast but my Son came home this weekend for three off from work and he did so much stuff for me, it was really good...
On the Saturday we were going to visit his daughter and stopped by the park
and these little guys came running up to us...so cute..
they were so friendly and trusting...
Mum and Dad were close though doing little grunts and quacks..
then it was time to go back to the water.....
My little paving slab got a good weed and de moss and mold..
and so did the table and chairs, they look brand new now..
So we had lunch out there yesterday a lovely sunny Sunday..
This pot with a daisy in it, was plopped in there after last season, as it never did anything, but look at her this year, growing over the one side of the pot...too scared to move her now..
we have lettuce in and I told Dean to put some slug bait in there....he did,
but as sprinkles...lol..
Thrilled to bits my Koi got a top 5 spot....
and then I have a card for my friend down south, her birthday is toda..y
I ADORE these papers..woodgrain and floral mix, fabulous..
Mintay Basic book, so lovely and thick too..
So, I made my base and added the papers cut to size..
Did some mixing and matching too using my black and white stripes from MFT
I think it adds some interest..
out came the Monarch butterfly stickers,
and gold die cut sentiments
Some flowers stickers and somewhere to write..
standing up..
and looking down..
and there you go..

Lovely to spend some time with your son over the weekend, your garden looks very smart and clean, it's so nice to be able to eat outdoors, a real treat after the winter.
How cute are those little ducklings, they must be rally used to having people around to be so brave and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful card and papers, love the fold and colourful butterflies. Your daisy plant must be happier there, love the little patio, you should spread grit or ground up eggshells round the lettuces definitely keeps the slugs off-congrats on your Top 5 too.
