RED,WHITE AND BLUE..

 Hello everyone,

Today I'm sharing a book I made, well, not really, I'm showing you the making and process of this ring binder book and it is all nautical and fabulous..

I used left over papers from a journal ring binder book that I made for my DIL
Her whole theme was nautical and I even went off and bought two more pads as they are awesome.

All the pages were mated in navy and all had vellum pockets..

the cover I made and covered with nautical material.
quite easy really,or should I say, "yay, I did it and never messed it up."

The inside covers back and front have this fabulous stripe papers....

and I mad esure to use double sided tape as well as the glue..

There is the covers

and all the pages inside..

For embellishments I added loads of die cuts I cut and coloured
and paper pieced and all sorts of other things..

Ready to make the cover all pretty and nautical.

This life ring is really big and I fitted a boat inside the hole..

Other details were the tags, all cut in white card stock and the tabs in red..

I found these cute little not pads in a Dollarama shop

My pen is nearly bigger than the pad..

I made covers in red and  used scraps to embellish with
fabric and cardstock.

Added the boats but needed more..

So..

I add upside down clouds for waves, smaller boats and seagulls..

Little pads inside all ready to go..

these cut out paper sheets are fabulous for quick mini tags

So, I fussy cut them all, added holes and strings and eyelets from red card stock..

then decide to go a but further and started stamping on my white tags..

Really enjoyed using these stamps again..

So they all got some lighthouses, beaches boats and sentiments too..

So there you go....
I know it is not all there, so you will have to come back tomorrow for my DT post to see it all done and in action..
Thank you so much for stopping by, guess I'll see you tomorrow..
I'm such a tease..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Very nice. I'm a sailor at heart and really miss it. My husband and I had many years of spending every minute we could out on the water.

Fantastic so far, can't wait to see the rest, Chrissy! I like these kind of ring binder albums/books; it's easier to add to them or move things around then spiral bound ones.
