Hello everyone,
The time got away with me and in my time it is Tuesday morning while typing this post up, I was going to be back Monday, but, I don't know, time just slips by and I end up doing nothing..
I have been making some things and doing things, I start out in one direction and then with the slip of ink or sprays I go totally somewhere else, I start with feminine and end up with a very grungy masculine tag..
I cut my tags, just out of white card stock and glued tissue paper on top,
let dry, sanded the edges and went onto stenciling..
White stenciling with thick modelling paste
four different patterns..
Then bought out Nuvo powders and some other cheap ones
and sprays..
sprinkled powder on, added water..
Mmmm, that wasn't supposed to happen..
i carried on and added more and more..
Holly popped in but not for long as she does not like the
hot air gun.
once everything was dry, I went onto a male style tag.
hot air balloons and cogs and things..
added black silhouette male die cuts and selected some ribbon for the tag top..
alcohol ink around the edges with a paint brush worked better than a dauber..
and before I knew it, I had four masculine grungy steampunk tags..
and fixed the shadow on the second from right man..
I got a bit carried away with the rubbing on white ink, but a bit of black fixed that, and all done,,
Thank you so much for stopping by, not sure what I'm getting up to today, guess we will just wait and see..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Well at the start of this post Chrissy I never expected to see the finished creations to look like this, it all worked out amazing, love your grungy tags. xx
A surprise ending, but non-the-less amazing masculine tags.
I'm so glad that you share your process because I'm totally amazed with all of the different layers you've achieved on these! When you added the sprays...it's like...POW! These are gorgeous masculine grungy tags my friend!
I understand the posting thing, I try to post at least every two days but sometimes miss that. They did first look very girly, nice that you were able to go with the flow and make them masculine, you did a great job making them that way!
Wow, going from feminine to masculine is something I've yet to do. That's creating with no one in mind, nice and freeing. xoxo
As you are the queen of tags, and particularly man ones, it's no surprise that these are amazing!! xx
Awesome tags here, Chrissy!!!
