Hello everyone,
Hope the weekend went well for everyone, mine did, I went out for dinner Saturday night then to the movies with my daughter and son in law, they very kind to me, I treated the lollies and chocolate which cost more than the meal as I couldn't make up my mind..lol..
Today I'm sharing a background making day project..I made five different background, or was it four,, not sure, but this one I'm sharing today..
I just used cheap white card stock that bows and whatnot but
flattens out when dry, so that's a bonus..
and stenciled with texture paste, then when dry, drizzled distress inks down the front
along with water, plenty of it too..
Then when each layer is dry, I would do it again, but, the last lot of ink I left,
more or less concentrated..and did it upside down..
Then stuck it on the card upside down so now the darker ink is at the bottom.
Out came my top hat, which has never been put away since it arrived, I just keep playing with it while the ideas are hot in my head..
and it is raining cogs and gears..
I used the belt and buckle that came with the hat in a matt silver.
and added a gold embossed on black sentiment, using my favourite wooden stamp.
So there you go, that was fun, be back maybe tomorrow with Bees or maybe another hat..
see you then..

Again you have inspired me. The background is amazing and the process is so good to see. The final result is just stunning Chrissy. Going to the cinema alone can be expensive nowadays. I usually pack up a handbag full of goodies to sneak in lol. Don't tell anyone!!
