Hello everyone,
Wednesday again and time for a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon and the lovely Brenda is hostess and her theme is " Be Krafty - use kraft paper "..but if you haven't got any you can use files folders, or the colour of kraft..
Okay, here's where everything went south...on my clip board list just above my computer I have my DT commitments and for today I was going to post up my folio made with kraft, or should I say, office kraft colour file folder.. but noticed I had TBW next to it...which means..to be water marked..but it was not there, nothing, nada, gone, deleted, never to be seen again..oh, dear, now what.
So I had a scrounge around in my files and found this, will just have to do..I am not going to stress and going to be calm, everything is alright..and this is picture heavy, sorry..
this project started off with my box full of brown kraft paper shopping bags.
I opened one up and laid it flat
another one laid on top in the middle
and...glued.
paper panel in the middle..
pocket panel..
another one..
and this lady,
isn't she lovely, reminds me of my mum..
cutting scraps, loads and loads of scraps, all joined together
to make panels and pockets..
stickers and left overs..
leftover playing cards already inked and grunged..
belly band to slide a booklet inside.
Booklet made with coffee dyed papers..
and pretty corners stickers..
another bigger floral sticker
the brown and black paper cover for this booklet was wrapping paper from my birthday last year..I saved every bit I could..
inside is brown wrapping paper from my sone shop,
my DIL keeps it all, sometimes tidy and folded flat ..other times, not so much..
but the wrinkles add character, like on me ha ha ha..
all the tops had washie tape like stamps..
filled the pockets..
even the secret ones..and edge with lace..
more stickers and notebooks..
popped into place..
Then all tied up with pink chiffon ribbon.
Oh, dear, I didn't think that was enough and started die cutting tulips
then coloured them with my markers..
and added them onto tags..which I also covered..
just to fill some empty pockets..
The things we do..
put these one under the belly band
added punk chiffon ribbon on the tops..
them more stickers..
PUT IT AWAY!!
folded it up, put it aside, then SOLD..
so do come and join us
HERE
Thank you so much for stopping by and putting up
with all my rantings and picture heavy post..
I'll catch up again soon..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Gorgeous project using your kraft paper bag, you always amaze me on what you come up with, I like the pocket with the 3 pockets, that lady looks like pictures of my mom in the 50's, I wasn't born until mid 60's and her style started changing by then :) Your belly band is so pretty and love the corner stickers, such a great touch! So Loving the lace and ribbon to top it off, I can see why this sold :)
Maybe not the original plan but is it ever fabulous! So many fantastic tags and such and that secret pocket with the lace is awesome!
Jeez Louise, Of COURSE it sold! You could put these on Etsy and make a million dollars! You are THAT TALENTED! xox
