BE MY GUEST..

 Hello Everyone,

I'm so honored to be here today as a guest  designer for Try it on Tuesday after wining their Summer Blooms Challenge back in July and today is the day I can share my project and the theme is " Children"

I'm so lucky to love making kids stuff, so went searching for images to play with and found these cuties from a DT I was on Digital Delights and decides to play and make a cowboy type card..

I printed and fussy cut these guys, Bridie the Donkey, Cowboy and Hay stack..sat and coloured for an hour or two with a cat sitting right in the middle of the pad and I worked in the corner..

This is my card base, with blue then green then clouds,

 the base of my scene, just about how I always start my scenes

then it is pretty easy to put together..

there's my cowboy, donkey and haystack, cut and coloured and ready to go..

so the haystack went on first as it needs to be in the background..

then the cowboy in front of that..a tip..instead of trying to cut out the center bit of the lasso 

just colour it in the colour of the background, here, it was the straw..no one will know.

Then I made a fence, as my idea was the cowboy trying to catch the donkey and it wouldn't work if the donkey was inside the fence as he/she was too big, so....

I popped her up on foam squares and put her outside the fence.

and there you go..
