H FOR HOLIDAYS..DT

 Hello everyone,

Another Wednesday has rolled around, I'm sure they are coming faster and faster and our daylight saving has started which causes my brain and body to go into a catatonic state until I'm organized which could take up the 3 weeks to sort it all out...then the heat will come..ugh!!..

BUT, today is a good day as it is LITTLE RED WAGON  time and a new hostess, our lovely Imke and a new challenge.. " H " is for Holidays - any kind you want..

I went with a Christmas theme using these gorgeous papers..

and decided on a book..

I had all these pictures in my stash, and although I don't have or never have had a winter snowy Christmas, I wanted one, so I made one up, based on my Summer trips to the top of the North Island here in NZ for Christmas to be with my Grandmother.

This is me, ( wink )..all dressed up ready for our trip to Grandmas house..

We took the train and travelled a long way until we reached the station at grandmas village.

we were driven by taxi to Grandmas, which always exciting as she
had surprises everywhere for us..

there was always a snowman outside
near her house all dressed up for the season

and around the next turn there were gifts piled high and scattered with snow.

The village was always a beautiful place to go, with the snow and lights
and bought the romance back to Mum and Dad..

The whole day was wrapped in  a gingham ribbon, a memory to keep.

There were no tags, no places to write anything, just pages of how I wished it was.

So do come and join us HERE

thank you so much for stopping by..

Luv CHRISSYxx

The book and your story are so lovely. I long for simpler times too, when things made sense.
