Hello everyone,
It is Wednesday, and over here in NZ we are having terrible winds, and too hot for Holly ( 28oC ) so she seems to nest somewhere inside where it is cooler..
this time in the darkness of the lounge on a tiny chair.
so she was comfortable and not annoying me in the craftroom, I set too and achieved the making loads of Christmas cards ready for a Fair evening at my sons workshop where I sell my cards along with other vendors and a food truck...yum..
Tags are next up today sometime, and of course gift card holders..
But onto today, it is Little Red Wagon time and our hostess this week is the lovely Brenda and her theme is " Not a Card "..
I went with a tag which I actually made ages ago when I was in the ink smooshing
mood..
Background made
Stamping time and edge inking..
Luna paste by Simon Hurley, lovely stuff, never dried out yet
and had it for a long time now..
Ha!..top hat still in play and layered up my metal cogs and gears onto die cut
gears..
Nice quotes - " What seems ordinary "
" Is often the extraordinary "
and done..a steampunk masculine gambling tag..
so do come and join us HERE just remember, no cards.
thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll catch up again real soon..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Very cool, love your steampunk approach to this little gem, I do enjoy making smooshed backgrounds, I should do it more but I have so much paper I tend to go toward that first. I love the clock in the background and the great quote to go with it.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best with the Fair they will be fighting over your creations!
When I saw the theme, I knew this was one for you. And I wasn't wrong. Fantastic tag, Chrissy! Love all the texture and the steampunk theme.
ReplyDeleteVery cool tag, Chrissy! That Luna Paste looks fantastic! Have fun at the fair, and I hope the wind calms down.
