Hello everyone,
I suppose you have gathered by now that I'm really enjoying using up my stash and envelopes, and I enjoy making little booklets for no reason at asll, just learning as I go, some are good, some not so much, but still have a lot of fun..
This a booklet was made using sage green envelopes and a couple of black ones that were floating around and I though, why not..so I add them a bit differently for contrast.
This is after I glued them together which made 6 pages / pockets and a fold out with the black..
this is the cover..and as we go you can tell what page is what as they are all numbered as I got lost too many times..
all of theses ephemeras I made I used, all of them.
even had to make a few extra, there's a lot of pockets to fill..
each pocket has an ephemera page and an index card.
this is the black envelopes folded out..
So the ephemera was glued as decorative papers as well
and then I added paper dolls from Tim Holtz..
Lots of scraps were used for something or another..
and dove into my number sticker container and used heaps of those..
I also added flower stickers, they just needed to be there, so I added them.
The index cards got the sticker treatment too.
No right or wrong way to add stuff, just do it.
before gluing these guys I did make sure that they fitted on,
because they are pretty big..
More flowers and dolls - what a great day.
Looks at them all and this is only one drawer,
I know, I think I have an obsession, not my fault though,
You tube videos made me do it..
12 & 13 I just kept adding
Doesn't even matter what the numbers say,
they mean nothing to me or anyone, they just look good..
Lots more flowers came into play, found some smaller ones..
and Tim Holts stamps which I'm slowly collecting.
This is the black envelopes folded out with more pockets
by sides decorated..
And at the end,
20 pages/pockets altogether..
what a ride, I had so much fun, keeping it for myself ,just on my shelf
and can look through it when I feel like it..
So there you go..
Such a lot of pictures and long post and congratulations if you made it to the end..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
luv CHRISSYxx
