it is LITTLE RED WAGON and I'm hostess this week and my theme is GOLD or SILVER
Well, I'm a gold girl now, I used to be silver when younger as my hair was silver white, very blond and curly and a lot of it, but as the time has gone by I'm grey and thinner, my hair, not my body, ha ha ha..
Okay, seriously though..gold or silver..
I altered a school note book..

Notebook covered with book pages..
then just stuff glued on, nothing matches,
no reason for any of it as you won't see it by the time I'm finished,
well, you will but differently..
I stuck stuff on and took stuff off, but finally stopped doing that and ...
painted it black, all over the place, in the nooks and crannies..
until it was covered everywhere, looks grey here, not sure why my phone had a hissy fit
Then when all that was dry, I rubbed Simon Hurly Solar gold cream stuff on the edges and all over the things I glued down..
I inked the pages and added pockets front and back inside covers.
I then decide to add these little stones I found,
glue down then sprinkle and press gently with finger..
Aren't they lovely, the grey ones, well all of them are those moisture stones they put in new handbags and stuff..my daughter in law saves them for me, they gets thousands of those packets when shipments come through and I benefit..
need more things, so added the gold leaf charms
on the edge.

Wow that is some makeover Chrissy. It looks like a book from Harry Potter movie!! I'm in the same boat as you lol so we better not sit together or we'll sink. Hair thinner by the day pounds gathering up nicely lol.
Beautifully decorated and love all the fabulous texture and embellishments, my hair used to be silver white too and now grey lol.

You have used your magic wand again, be honest, hahaha. This looks fabulous, no one would ever guess it was a plain old school book. I love it Chrissy, I actually thought the little stones were the ones you buy from the arty place, which right now I have no idea of the name but I still have some in my drawer ??? good you can get freebie stash. xx
Good Lord, woman, your stunning assemblage reminds me of Finnabair's. So so pretty. You almost made me buy some lunar paste but I rerouted it to my wishlist with the plan of trying to use my 47,000 other gold pastes first, heehee. You almost got me tho! XXO
Wow that is just stunning, the gold touches to the all black was a fantastic idea, gives it such an elegant look, and the balls really does add a great touch to it! Wonderful way to dress up the notebook!
Absolutely love your clever notebook here Chrissy! You've put so many details into the cover with lots of texture and detail! Love the bits of gold showing it all off too! What a really fun project this must have been to put together! Love it!
