Hello everyone,
Gosh, I'm back already..but this project I made awhile ago and just didn't get around to sharing, its just for fun..I saw it somewhere and tried it out, but in my style..
This was full size supermarket bag and I cut the top off..
Folded up just the same but now smaller..
then I cover it inside and out..
which when finished gave it a really good sturdiness.
looking inside..
Onto what goes inside and it is a school notebook
getting covered in the same papers..
Reminds me of covering my school books when I was a kid, used to love doing that.
so there she is all covered and ready for some decoration..
A different angle.
and the inside cover I added a pocket and tag..
Same with the back..
Sticker time, I LOVE my stickers..
and they were placed everywhere..
Flowers
more flowers, new ones.
and the new ones, being smaller went into gaps, I don't like too many gaps.
and you cannot even tell, they blend so well..
Bag closed..sort of.
and open, and there' s the notebook..
My finger holding it down as it wanted to spring open..
But after being pressed for this time it is now flat and ready to go into a journal
How fun..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you again soon..
I'm deep into Christmas stuff..
luv CHRISSYxx

You've transformed the humble paper bag and plain notebook into pretty works of art Chrissy, a lovely project with a beautiful result.
xx
Oh yes! I remember those days of wrapping the text books! I like this version so much better! What a brilliant idea to make this journal and the floral ephemera is perfectly done with it! Wonderful inspiration!
First off, I love how you just try stuff, never a dull moment! And secondly, I have a love affair with those kinds of paper bags. I prefer them to plastic. I used to check groceries at Safeway long ago and was a top shelf bagger, they actually trained us how to bag groceries well. xoxo
very creative, I just love your flower sticker collection, they are just beautiful and really dressed that up beautifully! Pretty way to dress up the notebook too!
I can't get it that you see a project in any piece of paper. You managed again to transfer a simple paper bag into a wonderfully covered bag. Chapeau!
This is a beautiful trash to treasure creation. You are a master at placing those beautiful stickers!
Really, I should just type 'Ditto!' on every one of your creations because they are all just STUNNING!!! I am so impressed with how you pulled all these different elements together and made a sack look so dang good.
