Hello everyone,
I have seen a lot of tags in my time but Pinky showed a very cool one the other day, (click her name and she will there,) and I really liked it and wanted to have a go.....so I did.
I cut two tags the same size, glued the three edges together.
Then covered it in Mintay paper scraps and inked all the edges with Ranger
inks ground espresso, my new favourite brown.
added my frame stickers and little Victorian ladies
and some number strips..
SURPRISE!!
This little one was inside, same date sticker different lady..
In my head, this was the sister of the one in the painting ( frame ) and daughter of the lady sitting under the frame, I feel she is jealous of the sister as the mother sits and looks up all the time, and I also feel there is going be trouble..
I watch too much television!
I love the added side tab to pull,
even though a few didn't get it and had to be told,
but that's okay..
and there we have a cute tag inside a tag, I made another one too, will share that later..
Thank you so much for stopping by..

Haha, love your story about the relation between the ladies. Anyhow, your tags are gorgeous again. Congrats on being a pick mention!
That Pinky has some sweet ideas doesn't she, haha. I love these Chrissy and the story that goes with them, not too much telly just a good imagination. I love the secret pull tag too, really pretty. xx
A fabulous take on Pinky's tag design- and I love the story it tells (would prefer a book version to a TV one though, always better!!!)
xx
I was also taken with the design of Pinky's tag and you have created an equally interesting design with a lovely depth of colour and delightful images.

Tags with storylines, hmmm, sounds like it could be a new trend! Pretty pieces, xoxo
I think you have made a gorgeous slider tag Chrissy. So beautiful and your story is brilliant lol. I'm watching Bridgerton at the minute and that's just what I was thinking of look at your tag!
so pretty, I love the Victorian feel it has to it, great papers and images and I love the little story you came up with for them :) I think I watch to much tv too :) Love that fancy ribbon you used on it too!
Your layered tag is such a delight to explore, with the scraps, framed figures, and that rich espresso inking giving everything a warm, vintage depth. The hidden pull‑out tag works beautifully, and the little storyline you imagined for the ladies adds even more charm to the design. The whole piece feels thoughtfully composed and full of personality.
Beautiful tag, and tag within a tag!!!
This is such a pretty tag. I love the romantic, vintage feel.
