WE ARE SAILING..DT

 Hello everyone,

It's LITTLE RED WAGON  time and it's our lovely JanR as hostess this week and her them is..

" That song..inspired by a song or use music notes, song sheets etc "

When I die cut this panel for the nautical card
last week, I saved this little panel and folded it in half and the
beginning of my project for this week was done.

I popped a background of music note paper and added a lighthouse
ephemera piece onto the front corner..

a bit bendy..

but she doesn't care..

Some torn packaging for waves..

and I added a boat sailing in front of the rising sun..

Laying flat you wouldn't really know

that it was all glued down on back panel.

and my card was inspired by Rod Stewart " Sailing "

So do come and join us HERE

This whole picture thing was copied and pasted ,as all of a sudden, without touching or doing anything, my photos wont load on blogger...hopefully it is a glitch and will come right by itself otherwise we are all in big trouble if I have to start fiddling.

thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you soon..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Love your choice of song Chrissy (how strange that it has a nautical theme :D) and your card design is fabulous. Can't help smiling at Holly- she's so blissfully asleep and definitely has a smile on her little face- must be having a lovely dream.

Another beauty, Chrissy! And what a clever idea for the torn paper as waves; the white bit at the top does indeed look like the foam on top of a wave.

what a beautiful card Chrissy, Why don't you die-cut it again? Use only the front........... fold the front double so it's sturdier. Then it won't bend............gr karin

So pretty, I love how you cut a window out of the front to frame it and that the sunrise was on the inside of the card. That is a pretty lighthouse too!

Belated happy birthday Chrissy, now I am not on FB I don't have reminders and no idea where the nearest post office is now as all closing so can't even send cards abroad which need to be weighed! Beautiful card(and Holly) love the fabulous Lighthouse, torn paper for waves and the music score paper.

Such a creative card - and so clever to be inspired by Sailing and having a nautical theme while also including musical elements within your card!

The way you built this scene feels so inviting with the soft sunrise behind the boat, the lighthouse anchoring the corner, and the music notes adding the perfect touch for the theme, and I really like how the torn packaging creates such natural looking waves and gives the whole design great movement.

Hope you had a great birthday and that on Facebook you knew I was Amy Rowlett Winans LOL when I wished you wishes! The photos must have righted themselves because the post looks fine. I also had problems with blogger and wordpress around same time, but all is well now. Love your card. I also save negative cuts like that. We love the challenge, I guess! Enjoy your nice weather! xoxo
