GUEST DESIGNER SPOT

 Hello everyone,

I'm so happy to be here sharing a project as a guest designer of at Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenge #121 as was so thrilled to be asked., thank you so much Andree.

This is my project, similar, granted, to what I've done before but when on as roll..

die cut my top hats and hat band..

added little gems inside, this guy is a high roller..

put them together and tucked the playing card ephemeras in the band..

made an inky playing card background..

lots of ink..

then stenciled with Monte Marte modelling paste, 

lovely and soft this stuff and dries fast..

Once dry stated to add die cut alphas.

all ready to put together..

and while on the roll, you make two..

This was my Grandsons birthday card and he loved it..

WHITE SNOW OR PINK SNOW?

 Hello everyone,

So, tag making day was nearly successful, but forgetting that distress ink take on colours and move things around, well, lets just say I nearly lost it..

three white card stock panels..

Layer #1

Builder netting stuff..

Modelling paste just smearing it on here and there..

layer #3

distress sprays..

Nearly dry and all was well..

Tim Holtz Christmas tree but only used two layers..

and added Honey Bee  Lovely Layer Winter Greetings..Berries

These panel had a few more sprays here and there as they were flat 

and I liked them much better here now.

Then I though how about stenciling some beautiful snowflakes in this lovely 

glitter paste..

So far so good.........................................then they dried!!!!

Damn it, they went pink.

I carried on though, they were alright I suppose.

then decide to add pink gems on the red berries..

turned them all the more pink..

I stapled some ephemera and glued a sentiment on top as a cluster..

But in the end, and that was the end , as I was over it, 

they came out quite pretty..

Jute ribbon and string to tie the top..

This one I will enter into Tag -along ( and ATC's ) it has the least pink on it..

So there we go,

ICECREAM..DT

 Hello everyone,

Wednesday again, my word the weeks are flying by, I'm all organized but srtll have that little tick going on that I missed something..oh, well, what will be will be..

Today is of course, LITTLE RED WAGON  day, and Imke is our hostess and rolling along with her alphabet challenges and this week is " I " for icecream.

Yikes, I didn't think I had anything to use, but I did, but didn't use it, instead!!

I hand cut a cone shape and pushed it through my big shot, and made

and ice cream cone and added a little brush of ink on the raised bits.

I die cut clouds as these ones are nice and fluffy.

for my ice cream.

added a cherry on top and some tiny heart sprinkles..

used scraps of papers, and added some extra cherries

and a simple PC sentiment.

BOTTOM OF A PAPER BAG..

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, I'm back already..but this project I made awhile ago and just didn't get around to sharing, its just for fun..I saw it somewhere and tried it out, but in my style..

This was full size supermarket bag and I cut the top off..

Folded up just the same but now smaller..

then I cover it inside and out..

which when finished gave it a really good sturdiness.

Onto what goes inside and it is a school notebook

getting covered in the same papers..

Reminds me of covering my school books when I was a kid, used to love doing that.

so there she is all covered and ready for some decoration..

A different angle.

and the inside cover I added a pocket and tag..

Same with the back..

Sticker time, I LOVE my stickers..

and they were placed everywhere..

Flowers

more flowers, new ones.

and the new ones, being smaller went into gaps, I don't like too many gaps.

and you cannot even tell, they blend so well..

Bag closed..sort of.

and open, and there' s the notebook..

My finger holding it down as it wanted to spring open..

But after being pressed for this time it is now flat and ready to go into a journal
