 Hello everyone,

This is post number two and this time for AS YOU LIKE IT  where you share your favourite and tell us why..

This fortnight Sarah is our hostess and she wants to see and hear why, which is your favourite.

.Clean or Fussy..

Well, FUSSY for me..I love a fuss and the more I can pile on the better...

I went with an easel card this time..

I made royal blue mats and some woodgrain [ which does not really float my boat ]
papers, but they were okay and needed to be used..

added stripes of scraps..

I like that colour woodgrain, but only had these scraps left..

and I made a square knot with some thick string for a stopper..

scraps of cork for the sand..

Then remembered to cut it with the die so it fits well,

and it did...phew..

My wonderful giant anchor came out to play...

and all the bits were glued together and inked...

Then die cut waves , clouds and birds, you gotta have sea birds..

and down it went!!!

can't make it work..

It's the clouds, they were awful and look over crowded..

So I ripped them off..

and the paper came too!!!!

Into my stash, and Annie, my Aussie friend ,
had sent me this die years ago, I have used it,
and today was the day it saved this card...

Cut it..

used the die to round it...

oh, no, another idea..

gave it a little inking..

and breathing evenly again...carry on.

played with the sand for quite awhile and was really pleased with how it all came out,
I was doubtful for a bit..

And here it is, and the clouds are just right now..

 Hello everyone,

Time for a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON and our lovely Brenda is helping us out with theme - Congrats - Birthday, Graduation, Wedding etc, anything you would congratulate for and any project you want, cards, boxes, books whatever you want just follow the theme..

I had two Graduation cards to make for they were basically the same but a bit different..

There was also confusion on colours,  and things were getting difficult so I took the bull by the horns and went black and gold, they were delighted..

so, two bases in gold, then a black panel..

Then a black panel with gold..

Stripes, love stripes..

printed this fellow off thew net, cannot go wrong with a silhouette.

added some extra stripes on the black..

die cut my words..

added more black and white stripe paper at the sides,
these are tiny scraps I keep and perfect for added detail.

One name fitted perfectly, the other was a long one but
squeezed it in..

Printed a sentiment to fit..

Yikes, deep breath..
and that was the easiest way to add Sebastians name,
 onto card stock..

Need something..

Gold stars...yes please..

and their tiny scrolls with red ribbon..

Congratulations boy's..

So, come check us out HERE

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you again soon with DT number two..

 Hello everyone,

I have added a picture with this post for you see the tubes of cat food in strong plastic tubes that were in the pouches, no meat or juice or mousse contacted the cardboard, therefore no smell or contamination, except the cat knows, she can sniff those pouches on the back seat of the car when I get home from shopping even when they are buried down the bottom of the back, or she just knows that's where they are, she loves them, and as a special treat I squirt the stuff onto her raw chicken and she makes a growling purring  gobbling noise while eating it.....

Onto my post..

four packets [tubes] of mouse inside the pouch..[ hee hee]

and this is what I grab off the shelf...easy storage in the panrty
and this animal costs me $140 fortnight for food!!!!plus extras, but so worth it..

So, I could not let this box go wasted
and started to cover it with old book pages..

was not hard at all, no trimming required because when it dried...

it dries nice and crispy..

and the emery board just slides the scraps of paper right off..

Then I inked every edge until it was all grunged up..

and a new container was born to hold my tags..

So there you go..

Thank you so much for stopping by today..
I'll see you tomorrow with more up cycling using cellphone boxes..
