KEEP IT SIMPLE..DT

 Hello everyone,

Back with a new challenge for Little Red Wagon and our lovely Imke is hostess and her theme is..

" K " for keep it simple..

I had an idea the day or two before making these while sitting on the bus going into town
and must have talked out loud ( like I do )..and a man sitting beside of me said, that it sounded like a good idea..lol..so embarrassed.

Along with the white bases I also made some yellow ones for a change
and decided to keep the die cut flowers white.

I die cut Bird of Paradise flower in white and coloured.

Then added yellow to flower centers

made amess of the leaf placement but kept going.
once that glue sets it sets..

Die cut this leaf die in copper foil

They are so pretty.

and die cut sentiments in foil as well with the left overs..

and made a set of sympathy cards

eight in total and for me, these are simple..
just die cuts glued down and a bit of colouring..

So do come and join us HERE

thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you again soon..

MASCULINE JOURNAL

 Hello everyone..

I've had this journal sitting in my files and have no idea why I never posted it up..but I am now and showing all my stash I used in making it, nothing new, just stash stuff and scraps and lots of Tim Holtz secret never to be used stuff..I OPENED THE DRAW..and used some.

I started( again ) with white envelopes..

and all these papers are out of my stash, they a slippery
grungy and textured.

all the envelopes were covers..

both sides..

book pages added..

These papers were also in my stash, 6x6 square
and 5x4..die cut numbers that were sitting around!

and I made frames..

love the colours of theses ones..

die cut loads of  circles

and pockets

and tag panels

booklets

envelopes...made these ages ago and
decided to start using these things..

my booklets got a pocket inside and added the envelopes..

More circles with book pages and added numbers on
and file labels joined up with brads and some numbers.

My favourite page, this wonderful paper doll from TH

Cleopatra dropped in and sprawled.

second favourite page, love the paper and frame..

and the closed journal with leather or suede twine..

So there you go,

I still have some Christmas ones to share, so must get on with that..so much to do and so little time..

NEW YEAR CARD

 Hello everyone,

Just popped on to share this card that I was asked to make.

Art Deco New Year 2026...

Started with panels and a slight idea of what was going to happen..

I die cut my bottle out of acetate and added half of it with wine coloured card stock.

You can see the bottle here, but even in real life ,
unless you tilt it you can't really see it..and those dam blotches..
that was Imagine Shimmer spray, it came out in blobs!!!

Cut the lady out in black added and white highlights to the grapes.

This charm is from an actual wine bottle
I just had to make it smaller..

and there she is..
The only place I could put the sentiment so she wasn't floating.
I struggled...
Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you soon..

PS..I finished the Steampunk clock, just the face, it is getting set into a very thick fob watch frame..
I will share photos when it gets done..

RIVER OF DREAMS...DT

 Hello everyone,

Are you into the swing of things yet? finding you way into the new year and getting back into postings....I'm struggling, only a little bit, my days can blur, my son has gone away for work and I'm tending the garden by myself and the days are floating on by and I have not accomplished much..PLUS it was so hot the other day 37oC and down the land a bit 41oC ...crazy..

BUT..today is cooler and I'm going to walk to the shops I don't drive anymore as my eyes wont let me..and it is time for a new challenge at LITTLE RED WAGON where our lovely Kate is hostess with the theme...

River of Dreams ( nightmare, dreaming or even nightmares)

I thought for quite awhile on this one but settled with the idea of a dream catcher
and knew I had this image in my files and never used it..I bought it originally for my eldest Son's
birthday but he was more into cars and stuff so went with that..

I ran out of this card stock, the teal colour so have to improvise
by cutting what was left into strips.

Kraft mat with the teal behind,

and added my strips of teal and waiting for glue to set.

Then the feather idea came so die cut and inked to match
what was in the picture.

added a gem and was really happy with the colour of the feathers and gem..

Added a simple quote " Dream with limitless possibilities "
and done..

Do come join in HERE

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you soon..
