THE LONGEST TIME..DT

 Hello everyone,

What a lovely weekend I had and hope you all did too, now we are mid week and it is...

LITTLE RED WAGON  time, and our fabulous hostess is Kate and her theme is.." The Longest Time " - anything nostalgic, representing memories etc..

My best memory from when I was a child would have been when the circus came to town..never been before and never been to one since...

I wanted a big card but only when it opened

 so came up with this plan which made

 the card 23x23 inches square when opened..

68 cm approx.

all my circus papers are from Temu and

 are 6x6 square, so lots of cutting and

mixing patterns which I like..

So after the base was done I started adding papers for the matts..

any papers with borders were cut individually and glued along the bottoms..

and these adorable images from Digital Delights by Louby loo

flag banners..

and very bright happy colours..

and lots of die cut animals,stars and tags, trains and clouds..

Back and front were covered..so ten panels all up..

USE A STAMP..DT

 Hello everyone,

Another week has flown by and we are on a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON with our lovely Brenda as hostess and her them is " USE A STAMP - postage or inking.

I decided on another booklet/folio and wanted to use up as many stamps ( postage ) 

that I had..

I started with folding this manilla kraft card into three..

and covered each side back and front with docket papers..

then postal papers, I love these papers, so busy and fun..

decide then to make a flap going up..

and loaded it up with all I had..

 A kindly lady gave this stamp album to my DIL to give to me 

as she knew I loved  playing with everything and anything..

some stamps were still on the envelopes,

and one or two were cute enough to make a pocket..

I also used many stamps with ink to add texture..

I printed out some postal papers and lined an envelope..

Booklet closed..

I really enjoyed making this one, the stamps don't look 

that visible but they really stand out in real life..

FLOWERS WATERPAINTED..

 Hello everyone,

First up I'm so sorry I'm not commenting much, it is a bit of hit and miss that my comment will post, so I'll keep trying..

Back with a little project just for fun and I think going to be very useful.....one day!

Glue stick and book pages always a fun start,

gluing two or three pages together to make the thicker..

then I die cut flowers out and kept the negative, 

they will come in handy for something I'm sure..

Once they were all cut out they needed colour..

water paints/

oranges and purples with green leaves..

This is a negative leaf using ..

( say that five times fast )

again..

and a collection was made and ready to go..

Cat pouches, I love these thing but Holly does not get them anymore as she gets allergies from the mousse and it is so sad to watch her scratching and licking constantly, so glad I kept so many of these things and still have few left to play with..

after covering with book pages I added the flowers

 and a velcro dot to keep the flap closed..

and the negative became the tag..

I gave the flower centers a little black dot

and an orange one..

pouch open..

and then decide to use a negative page as well..

and a negative tag  too..

three of these were made, but I still had some leftovers

 so....

I mixed the colours up..

and then there were four..

I will probably use these in a journal or on the own with a gift card, not sure ,but something for my stash..
