FIJI JOURNAL REQUEST..

 Hello everyone,

I was asked a wee while ago if I could make a travel journal with Fiji as the theme and Steampunked..

Of course I can..

This journal is for personal use but the trip was a sponsored work conference trip..all expenses paid..wow..lucky..

All the papers, well, most of them were printed off the net.,.

a lot were from Stamperia and plus all the ephemera..

Let's go...

The cover..

Sponsors tickets/logos in pockets..

I copied the itinerary then cut the days into strips and added on each of the pages..

loads of tags..

They had free days as well, and a cooking class..

I die cut some fish with steampunk papers and added cogs for eyes

 and made booklets to write in..

out of the pockets..

and open.

Evening entertainment..

coconut carving was interesting..

Just pictures from Stamperia paper pad..

 for her son to draw and write in..

Booklet out and love the silhouette birds flying over the steampunk 

trees.

Belly band on left balloon was cut using a die and steampunk papers

 then the top layer just rusty brown..

Then made spots for adding photos

and papers I couldn't cover..

FOUR PANEL..

 Hello everyone,

I was just playing the other day and tried my hand at a four panel card, different size panels large to small and it worked..

So, here is my four panels all glued together and ready for decorating..

laying down..

and first mat.

Then the yummy papers and the typewriter 

was my inspirations for the cover..

That's where my friend Tim came in..

My die cut machine did NOT like putting this through to start with, but ,

with a bit of gentle encouragement it gave in and let it fly, 

so while it was working I cut a few..

The inside panel needed help as I ran out of this colour gray

so had to do some surgery with scraps..

The papers went on and it is still standing..

I put the typewriter together using two colours and added a little

 note inside the rollers..

I never noticed how undressed this card is until I looked at the photos, 

not like me at  all..

The papers were busy so must have decided to keep it simple..

I did make a pocket though..

the last panel and somewhere to write..

and there he is..and it is what it is..

SYMPATHY..DT

 Hello everyone,

It's DT time for Little Red Wagon and I'm hostess this week with the theme...I'm so sorry - Sympathy or even apology would be okay..

I find making sympathy cards not too difficult if I don't need one and get orders for them quite often but always in a rush so it is always good to have some in your stash..

This was the easiest way for me on this day,

 I let the papers do the work and just added white butterflies..

and also took the plunge and stamped right on the front, 

no label and very little practice..

and nailed it..

The butterflies were die cut in white, just plain little butterflies

with a black body..

They almost fly off the card front..

So there you go..

IS IT A TAG OR BOOKMARK?

 Hello everyone,

 it is Monday morning here while I'm writing this post,a bit cloud, but for me, not too cold at all, in fact we haven't really even started winter yet, the days are so mild..

Okay, today I'm sharing a tag or bookmark I made yesterday in between lots of busy stuff, and here we go..

I started by cutting fresh tags as I've used all that I had..

with kraft folder from Office Max because that is what I use.

I got my text stamps out, mainly Tim Holtz and Creative Expressions

after adding some floral stickers I stamped.

here and there 3 times to make text cluster.

and again over the top with number stamps..

and did the unthinkable...I cut my floral stickers in half

for the edges, I know I was shocked, but very pleased with 

end result.

on the back of my tag I added a little pocket and popped in a reading list tag

to write down books you have read from Temu.

A little pale blue ribbon on the top and done..

So there we go..
