SECOND PAPER PACK..

 Hello everyone,

I'm back again with a second book/journal. using another paper pad set from my son and partner from my birthday and another Cia Bella 12x12 plus the 8x8 " Typographic " plus Tim Holtz screws and All and Create Butterflies..wish I could find more of these..

In fact there are three parts to this project so will spread it around, so many papers and ideas and just had to play and play..

So here is part one..

The papers..( a slight gasp escaped from me just then )

The papers talked to me and wanted a writer journal made..

Timmy came to play with his typewriter..

cCt twice or even three times to get all the different parts

 into different colours..and added a message.

big butterflies 

cut aparts made into panels..

and a key hole die gave me the idea to pop a picture from one of the panels 

inside it like looking through the keyhole..

had these metal file brackets or whatever they're called

onto some of the papers with a tiny number on it..

more keyholes, keys and butterflies..

more free pictures from TLC was typewriter

keys and I printed them to the best I could 

to fit my small punch.

and then I found my spellbinders key 

and die cut him out in matt gold..

A butterfly placed the center of the book..

book made glued and inked..

panels ready to go on..

Then another idea..

Nuvo drops, gold and let it drizzle down like spilled ink.

So panels done, 

just a quick look to see it was not all that many pages

a little journal

stitched into place..

And done...phew..

What a great time I had making this book with more to come..

ONE THING..DT

 Hello everyone,

Wednesday again, gosh they are coming round faster and faster but always a pleasure as it is..

LITTLE RED WAGON TIME and this week our fabulous Jan R is hostess and her request is..

 " ONE THING " - use just one of a thing..one image, one word, or layer etc..I went with one butterfly..

I selected my papers checks and daisies...

and a butterfly die..

I die cut a frame and added ovals of green and patterned papers..

enamel dots from who can remember when ..

A simple gold embossed sentiment and ..done..

BIRTHDAY PAPERS

 Hello everyone,

I'm back sooner than I thought, but had to share some things I received for my birthday and what I did with them..

These gorgeous travel style papers from Cia Bella 12 x12

called Eastern Journey..

and decided to make a booklet...which nearly turned in the War and Peace picture novel!!

This I decided was going to be my cover..

with other stuff added of course.

I made cream pages and the hinges

Lots of the papers had such good size pictures like A5 size, 

made things a lot easier for me..

and so many cut apart sheets..

The pale blue flowers featured through the pad ,but for me never enough, 

so I tried die cutting some, but they weren't the same 

but still poked them into gaps.

All the fussy cutting and panels ready for action along

with ephemeria I made up.

That's is when it hit me..photocopying

so I cut the flowers out

and copied and copied and copied..

now I was happy..

I made the envelopes and tiny tags

and I used the flowers as pockets in some cases

made flaps that open into something else

and vintage cream lace everywhere, plus lace hides boo boo's

I added film strips from my stash and ephemera

and these pale blue floral papers just blended right in

 when I was getting low..perfect.

And there we go..done..
