UNSCHEDULED ATC'S

 Hello everyone,

This post was a spur of the moment post as I had been playing again with Oxide inks, water and crazy birds stamping, modelling paste and anything else I could squeeze onto these tiny cards..

These little cards are just blank card stock, loads of it ,cut into size..

and mt Tim Holtz birds stamps which was a gift to me from Brenda

I have used them before and had such fun, 

but it was a long time ago and they needed airing again.

And I needed to use my stamp positioner, just in case.

After heat embossing the birds after the stamping

it was time to water colour..

Background first, the embossing of the birds helps lots

any bleeding just wipes off..

then I stamped different pattern stamps in various places..

along with some tiny modelling paste sections..

when that was all done I now have naked birds...

better fix that..

So they were water painted too, with quite bright colours.

All done with Tim Holtz sticker words / quotes..

gave them some white spatter too and inked the edges..

So there we go..

PINK BOOKLET AND WINS..

 Hello everyone,

A wet but not cold Spring day today and I'm in the kitchen making Kumera Croquettes as the kumeras ( Sweet potatoes ) were very cheap at 2.69 kilo, so,  I just had to.

I had a few wins lately with my top hat projects so that was pretty awesome..

  

and then had a day the other day making a pink booklet card and it sold very fast...

These are the cut out from a paper set, cut and inked..

more,  but panels cut and inked.

pockets made and inked..

These gorgeous papers are from another 12x12 set and are beautiful..

so used them for all the panels..

Back and front..

The front had ephemera added, then an oval die cut

with the gold sentiment die cut out from the foil off the butter ..

my friend saves them for me, a bit tricky with some dies and delicate once cut, but these went well..

The white heart was sent to me from Janette, thank you Janette..and

I have af ew more to play with.

Then after making loads of tags and inking I started filling pockets..

round ephemera, the panels, and tags with ribbon..

Beautiful feminine stickers of ladies and girls.

all the pockets got a vintage cotton lace trim along the bottom....

In side and an oval to write in..

The outside..

But folder up they all go together and you cant tell which is the inside 

and which is the outside, so that worked well..

I'm showing the front again  because it changed a little with those beads,

 but forgot to take a photo..

The end  beads were removed and I added small ones , pearls and glass and gold  and pink, then the big ones  back on just to fill the gold elastic thread which is the closure..

So there we go..

Done and sold..

HOT DRINKS..DT

 Hello everyone,

Wednesday means time for a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon and this week its our lovely JanR 's turn to be hostess and her them is...Tea, Earl Grey, Hot - any hot drinks so go for it, any hot drink in any form or design you want, draw it, die cut it, water colour, anything you want..

I, ( of course ) went with die cutting..

First - papers and using up my stash..

Lovely rusty looking grungy papers..

and tags six of them..

and someone not paying attention as my bed called her in, 

first time of the season and apparently the last, 

she back in the craftroom squashing my papers in my trolley!!

So tags covered, not hard to do, 

inked and spattered..

Then using my arch die, I cut just the tops of these papers

and added them on the bottom..

added reading labels or cards on the back,

 wished I had done that different, 

but they are what they are..

On the fronts added die cut letters spelling BOOKS

And these fine ribbon things, 

were necklaces from the cheap shop and I've saved them for years..

so they went through the tops.

also die cut some books and gold leafed the edges with a pen..

and added  die cut TH cups and saucers of coffee and tea. with steam.

they are fun to mix and match the layers for colours but they are pretty small.

and there you go, 6 tags / bookmarks ready for the shop..

FLYING BY..

 Hello everyone,

The week has begun over here, and I'm as free as a bird..

The scrapbook has moved to it's new home..

I'm all caught up with DT work until Dec, and got a great bargain at K Mart yesterday..

One drawer clear modular storage $4.50 each..

WOW ..!!

they were usually $14.00 each, what a score.

Love them, I don't think I have anything to put in them

but, that means I can go shopping and fill them..

Okay, so why I'm really here is I've been making tags.

and again determined to use up my scraps, and these were for sure, 

with only a tiny few bits left..

These are form Kaisercraft 

three white tags trimmed and corners clipped..

then decoupaged and looking weird and stuff..

this is all that was left..

then they got sprayed a bit..with Tim Holtz, Speckled Egg

Cracked Pistachio, and Prize Ribbon..

then Mont Marte Modeling paste through a stencil.

Once all dried I decide to use up stickers, I have thousands and thousands of stickers, 

I have an obsession with them, but they need to be used..

This is the sticker sheet that comes in the 122 x12 set, so I peeled

and stuck them onto black card stock, then

 punched them out.

Butterflies all stuck in place but needed help with glue

because of the texture of modeling past and

they got a good spattering with white ink, gold ink and some black.

Sentiments were added and chiffon ribbon through the tops..

These are framed butterflies stickers..

there are TLC butterflies..

And these are my favourite PET stickers

big beautiful butterflies, and

 this is the one I'm entering into
