STITCHES...DT

 Hello everyone,

 I'm on fire with my posting lately, probably as my mojo went wandering a bit so a good time to edit and post what I've been up tol..but today is DT day for LITTLE RED WAGON and our fabulous JanR is hostess and her theme for this week is...STITCHES.

This is what I came up with...

I'm obsessed with kraft colour bases only because

 I find it very hard to find coloured cardstock that I can afford..

so I purchase office manilla folders and cut them down..

and the scuffed up really well to give you shabby edges..

I went with shabby chic vintage style, and as I cannot

see details like threading a needle especially on the sewing machine I went with stamping my stitches..

and added little tags from my stash that I made on  one 'tag  making day' 😉

this little hat came from the 123 shop and I bought a small packet of 4

 and they are so fun to add flowers and things on..

The sewing papers from my stash, probably Temu

more stitching stamping

and added a beautiful gold embossed stamped sentiment and glued that onto this pretty oval shaped doily..

SHABBY CHIC PAPER CLIPS

 Hello everyone,

Back again with the other Shabby Chic project and this time I made hidden papers clips using up more papers of mannequins and all sorts of other bits..

these are my clips on white card stock scraps

and the first papers to glue over the top

Then the ripped or torn papers all pretty and pink

but before that, I clipped a tiny hole in the top of the first layer,

 so the clip peeked out the top..I can hang a charm on that..

then...die cutting, loads and loads of roses die cut and glued from Altenew

and they don't always match up very well but they are very forgiving..

They were then put in place..

and added lace 

Pearls

and butterflies and done..

just some chiffon ribbon it the tab top and they finished 

and ready for  a journal or front of a card..

So there you go..

SHABBY CHIC PLAYING CARDS

 Hello everyone,

Back as promised and some shabby chic going on today and tomorrow, maybe the next..

This was  on a card altering day, 

I made heaps of altered playing cards and had such fun..

these ones were gessoed for a base as they are slippery little suckers..

then glued on ripped papers but tried to keep showing the manequins.

these were jumbo playing cards so more space to work with..

and glued on patterned tissue papers on the back.

Lovely..

i die cut circles from the papers as well for added interest..

and then I had lots and lots of these..

Then added tiny flowers and some numbers and I was done..

So there you go..

CIRCLE TAGS..

 Hello everyone,

As promised, I'm back already and with a fun project which filled in half a day and kept me very entertained..no " I'm bored " comments allowed in this house, I do something ,whatever it might be, every day..

A die set from Hero Arts and cheap manilla kraft colour folder 

all cut into usable size.

I die cut a load of circles and labels

and some patterned paper circles and also kept the negative, 

I can used that..

TH papers or leftovers from other stuff getting the chop..

added some TH paper dolls and built a circle tag..

all these circles in blue was from another day of making things 

but I just couldn't get my pictures into sharing order,

 so you will get them here and there..

so I kept building and adding bits

Oooo..I'll keep this and use it ..and I did in Fridays post

you can see the pretty pattern better here..

and before lunch I had a set of six..

The flowers were cut from patterned paper as well, and  lined with cardstock to make them firm and easy to die cut, in fact, I used many different papers from food dockets to music sheet scraps..

so there you go..

AUTUMN COLOURS...DT

 Hello everyone,

I'm back and I think my blogger is nearly fixed, I've had some comments and my reading list does not take so long to load now and when I click load morer.it does...so fingers crossed it will last.

Today I'm hostess over at LITTLE RED WAGON and my theme is Autumn Colours..

I started off with my box ready for spraying..

and spray I did, every yellow, orange and red I had..

When dry, I cut the TH leaves

and had leftovers..

I die cut thin brown card and screwed it up really hard 

to make crinkled dead leaves

They are done..

This is the inside..

This leaf die set is from a Tonic Studio kits, the best kit I ever bought

there is stamps and more dies with it..great stuff.

and after I splattered it with gold ink.

and a simple hello die cut and sentiment which

was in the kit as well..
