TAGS..

 Hello everyone,

Sharing today some of my many tags I have made ready for the fair on the 27th Nov, so excited but really nervous to say the least..

These tags were made from papers in my stash, A5's, loads of them and needed to be used, so they were die cut with my NEW tag cutting die.

I glued the picture onto white cardstock for stability

then die cut, that pressed the glue down flat and nice, then came the pom pom trims..

I had quite a bit of pom pom trim and had to be used..

the Santas got the pom pom trim..

Winter snowy scenes here..

These pictures were printed onto card  stock from my PC folder.

and die cut with smaller tag die and also die cut a red ribbon for the top.

that bow die was from Honey Bee Stamps.

More winter tags with pom pom trim.

and some burlap and white ribbon tied on top.

A couple of days. everything was splattered with white ink 

and laid out to dry, and here they all are..

HOW MY CHRISTMAS THEME BEGAN..

 Hello everyone,

Sometimes  I like themes for my Christmas card, I get an idea and if it flows, it flows, and I make over 200 cards for the season, family, shop, friends, special friends, overseas and then the orders in between.

This year...this is how my theme began..

I shopped on amazon and bought this..

and started cutting..

and card stock backing to make them studier 

I do nothing perfect with my eyesight, and don't really care, 

but all the ephemera was hand cut out and matted with card stock..

and sometimes a die worked, but the tags etc are different sizes so pretty limited.

but the hand cutting was okay and I inked the edges to hide boo boo's.

after buying my  Hero Arts nesting dies I found one good enough for the round ephemera, so that was lucky, I cannot cut a straight line, so a circle was never going to work..

double sided these one as they are pretty small.

and you can see by now my theme is " Animals "

different sizes in this book, so that was fun.

I made so many animal themed cards and tags which I will share as time goes by

and still had bits left over..

Here we are at the end with all the pictures cut and matted and ready to go..

LET'S FLY..DT

 Hello everyone,

Time for Little Red Wagon and a new challenge with JanR as our fabulous hostess and her theme is..

LET'S Fly - anything that flies in the sky..

I weakened and bought this Tim Holtz 12x12 paper pad..

and cut into it..I know!

Steampunk die cut balloon and made the base out of gold card stock by cutting again.

added some Bee's and the girls face along with a number.

Dry embossed using my favourite embossing folder

some builders mesh..

lot of clocks and more numbers

and layered my cogs, gears and clocks up 

Sentiment, or quote really, not added a sentiment as yet..

CHRISTMAS SHAKE UP

 Hello everyone,

Sharing a Christmas shaker that nearly sent me into a spin of no return, I shook it, and the stuff fell out, I was so cross with myself, started over and it did it again..I didn't realize that the bag I was using for my shaker window had a hole or ten at the other end, I thought it was a sealed bag..anyway, it work out in the end..

Using my arch die ( love this die ), I cut out a window in  the card base.

Then glued the bag in place ready to fill it with my shaker bits..

Die cut a Santa picture..

filled my bag up..

and glued it inside..

die cut some snowflakes in music papers..

added a pocket with a tag on the backside..

added a music strip on the inside seam.

a die cut Merry Christmas in the music papers..

I love these cellophane bags with the snowflake print on it.

and there she is..

#833 GOLD OR SILVER...DT

 Hello everyone,

it is LITTLE RED WAGON  and I'm hostess this week and my theme is GOLD or SILVER

Well, I'm a gold girl now, I used to be silver when younger as my hair was silver white, very blond and curly and a lot of it, but as the time has gone by I'm grey and thinner, my hair, not my body, ha ha ha..

Okay, seriously though..gold or silver..

I altered a school note book..

Notebook covered with book pages..

then just stuff glued on, nothing matches, 

no reason for any of it as you won't see it by the time I'm finished, 

well, you will but differently..

I stuck stuff on and took stuff off, but finally stopped doing that and ...

painted it black, all over the place, in the nooks and crannies..

until it was covered everywhere, looks grey here, not sure why my phone had a hissy fit

Then when all that was dry, I rubbed Simon Hurly Solar gold cream stuff on the edges and all over the things I glued down..

I inked the pages and added pockets front and back inside covers.

I then decide to add these little stones I found, 

glue down then sprinkle and press gently with finger..

Aren't they lovely, the grey ones, well all of them are those moisture stones they put in new handbags and stuff..my daughter in law saves them for me, they gets thousands of those packets when shipments come through and I benefit..

need more things, so added the gold leaf charms 

on the edge.

see...

                                             and a little rose in the middle....now  I'm satisfied.
