Hello Everyone....

My title explains the images name for my card today for....
                                 FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY

Another Wednesday has arrived and with it a new challenge at open challenge...anything goes, just remember to use your Fairy or butterfly..

For my card I used this beautiful image by Selina Fenech
"All I want for Christmas"...such a moving image and so beautiful to colour...easy..

Coloured with pencils and glittered up wings, tiny pearls added to the little gnomes crown and collar..

A memory box border die and little pearls added to that too...

The papers are MME -'Howdy Doody'

The tatting is from 'My Lady' is very old and she gave me quite a lot of it..

This is the side view...decorated inside too..

And since I'm showing the tatting...I will show you the lace that she also gave me...

After the war 'My Lady' stayed at a boarding house and met a French woman in her late 50's who used to work for the English Ladies as a 'Ladies maid'...she taught the ladies of the house French and made all her own lace...these were given to my Lady in friendship...and now she has passed them onto me...they are probably over 100 years old....and very beautiful....just to feel them, and the fine details..

There you go....this is all handmade by "Gabrielle"....'My Ladies' friend...

The tatting on my card was made by her there was so much of it...I used some.

Lovely isn't it...

Well, thanks for stopping by..trying to catch up after loosing the silly internet....I'll get there...hope you are having a fabulous week....hard to beleive how fast the time is least I'm all ready for the big day...phew..
