Hello Everyone...
Welcome to Delightful Thursday..[my day off tomorrow] ..and as it is the first Thursday of the month it is time for our NEW RELEASE and what a selection..images from all over the world..such fun.
For my project we are going to MEXICO..
I have used Mexican Pablo ...and the Mexican Background set, and put it all together in a chocolate box.
And there they all are...what a fun project this was..
I used an old GuyLian chocolate box and the inside of the lid I placed the house..
Then poured in the real sand and placed some stones out of my garden...
Pablo and his pet Chihuahua along with the cactuses were placed in the sand..
I was over the moon with the texture on the house...I used modelling paste and my finger and spread it around as best as I could then used my water paints to paint it up and the colours were just right...just don't ask what I used as I cannot remember at all...but I do know I used a black pastel to make shadows around the door and windows..
Pablo and the dog all coloured up with Reno Markers and the cactuses with Distress inks and a sponge..
Great fun project....thank you so much for stopping by...see you tomorrow.

What a fun project Chrissy!! I'm so glad you showed the different angles, so I could zoom in and see all the fun details you included. The texture on your house in the back is amazing, looks so authentic, and I love that you included real rocks too! So much fun! hugs :)

The building in the background looks like the Alamo - which is about an hour and half from where I live! Amazing project with all those details and so fun!

I'll think twice before I ever throw away a chocolate box again. Love how you recycled this box to make a fun and decorative item, how creative you are!
