ART DECO LADY..

Hello Everyone...

I'm running out of ways to start my posts off let alone headings as we have another order card to share..

An Art Deco style for an elderly lady who just loves it in our Summer when we have art deco weekend and all the cars are polished up and the ladies have their furs on and gorgeous frocks..there is dancing in the streets and bands playing...the long breakfast and plenty of fun things to do night and day..

I do not know who these people are but they are now on my blog so they must feel famous..lol..

Right then....onto my card..

Her favourite colour...green and yellow..loves spots and used to fly planes after the war..

Love my deco plane die..die cut it twice the base was black and I paper pieced the grey..

Another die used in the corner with the spots and white border..just gave her something to stand against.

Decorated inside as well..sort of.

So there we go..thanks so much for stopping by, I'm off to flop on the couch and relax and it is my day off tomorrow, so that is something to look forward to..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh wow that looks like a really fun event along with the ladies getting dressed up to fit the idea! We have something called a "drive-in" with old cars being showed, but no-one dresses like that! How fun! Your card really fits with the event and I adore your colors and beautiful papers on it! Beautifully done my friend! HUGS

Wow what fab fun time that looks, apart from the furs, maybe they aren't real. The cars look fantastic. Your card is perfect for the brief too.

Chrissy, this is stunning hun! Love the art deco celebrations they have in Napier and must, one of these years, bring the kids down for it. We have cousins who dress up every year and get right into the celebrations! Stunning card hun, your plane and that lovely diecut diva is so perfect for that era. The card design and paper combo is delish! Finished perfectly inside and out! Love it. Hugs, Wends xoxo

Art Deco celebration sounds fun. People dressed so well in those days. Why did men stop wearing hats? As for your card, the spotted paper does make a great spot for her to stand on. And the plane, another great personal touch, looks beautiful.
