PLEASE DONT EAT THE DAISIES..

Hello everyone,

Today while typing this post up, it is Monday 4th Jan 2021 and stinking hot here in NZ..I have the fan on in my craftroom blowing more hot air onto me..lol..what a whiner,I don't do Summer..but I DO, DO DAISIES..I LOVE daisies and had to buy the Altenew Craft a Flower - Daisy early last year and played a few times...

After loads of prep, which I love to do as well, I made a few cards and sharing one today...

A big day of die cutting and inking, well, more likely 3 days, but I loved doing it..

Made life difficult in deciding to die cut in white and colour myself, hence the three days..

But it was good...

and loved the outcome..after a wee bit of white splattering too..

Gosh, this is such a neat die, cuts perfectly, not too hard to line up, because some of them are a nightmare, my brain did not like school and still does not like to think much, I like to just do it.

Sp pretty..I only inked the inside edges and the centers were with a marker..

I adore my new background reverse brick wall from Simon Says Stamp..
I stamped, white embossed, then smooshed it in Speckled egg, Fossilized Amber and  gathered twigs...

Then the flowers were placed with some leaves....

Adding a bit of dimension with foam squares [rounds]

Just for you die cut sentiment...DONE!

And a close up of the crackled on that background stamp set, so neat.

And there we go..

Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you in a couple..

Now everybody sing..Please, please, don't eat the daisies, don't eat the daisies, please, please.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh where to start, well I love the flowers, are they just so pretty, and the leaves look very realistic, the brick wall is a classic, the whole tag is just gorgeous and once again you made me smile about school, I was always the same, just let me get on with it I will figure it out :)....it took me back too when the 'thing' in crafting was making flowers and we set them in egg trays, do you remember, it was fun if you could wait long enough for them to dry, haha....
Sorry your suffering the heat but we are freezing here Chrissy, heating is on all the time, take care.xxx

Gorgeous card Chrissy, the daisies are lovely- one of my favourite flowers. Die cutting white card and colouring after does take longer but the results are worth it!
Bloomin' cold here and I just wish it would stop raining so I could go for a decent walk!

Chrissy, you are so funny and your posts always give me a lift. Another stunning piece of art work!! Love daisies too. I really must start playing with my card stuff but addicted to Needle Felting at the moment. Making animals and fairies!! It is very wet and very cold here! Stay safe and well. Love and big hugs, Carol S.xxxx
