Hello everyone,
Back with another which I didn't think I would be, but it was so cold today, sunny, but very cold, so I stayed in doors after I washed the front windows to get all the dust and pollen off and now they sparkle, cooked bacon and eggs for late brekkie, there's a roast beef in the oven and also rearranged some files after the upheaval..so all in all a great day..
Needed to play with a Tim Holtz flower...sometimes these just pop up in my head
and I feel the need to die cut colours and make a certain card...
I also break the rules and mix and match my dies so there are about 3 sets in here..
or on here..
Love this blue in these paper from Paper Rose [ I think]..spots and stripes..
All sorted to go, just got the centers of the odd coloured flowers
to add...
And away we go..lovely long leaf flourish fills the whole panel...
then the flowers went on and the gold embossed sentiment on black card stock...
an old wooden stamp from a children's stamp set, and they work perfectly..
On went a gold butterfly and some antique gold half pearls...tucked a flower and bit of a leaf behind the panel, just needed a little something...
DONE!!..

Stunning card Chrissy- the colours remind me of one those wonderful autumn days with bright blue skies when the leaves are starting to change colour- not wishing the summer away, although some rain and cooler days wiould be very welcome! Congrats on your win- those water lily cards are gorgeous.
