ALL IN A DAY'S WORK..

 Hello everyone,

Just sharing some prep this time using a non traditional flower...Altenew Water colour Garden Layering Set..although there is no water colouring here today just die cutting and paint..lots of paint, anything that didn't move nearly got painted..

Love this die set, the flowers are huge and will not fit on an A2 size card, I had to go big..
well, the biggest flowers can but they look even bigger..

Die cutting done..

layering them up..

All glued into place..

Pine branches die cut and sprayed..

Little flat pinecones//

made a disc to go on the back so the bits won't fall out..

Then inked up the edges and they look more dimensional..

Done..

Using up old 6x6 paper pad and had to join the papers..not hard to do.

So there is the start..

I need bells, white bells so painted silver ones..

Straws cut up and tied together.

Then sprayed, not the best choice of colouring them, but they okay..

Red pinecones...they need painting.

All these need painting too..I have my Gesso out so look out!!

Pink pinecones get brown paint treatment..

That'll work..

Yellow berries....they need painting

Nice..

Mmmm..started wandering..

This flower needed painting, but just a bit, like snow..

See..

One tray full...

Two trays full..

Altogether..hooray.

Thank you so much for stopping by..I'll share the card..s  tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Amazing prep work as usual. I have used the cut straws before but never thought to have a play with them first. Genius!
