SLIM PICKINGS...DT

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, I've had a wee break and it feels so strange to type a post up, but I have to go on as is it is Wednesday and time for a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON and our fabulous Shani is hostess with her choice of SLIM PICKINGS - slimline cards..

I love making slimline cards, I used to make heaps, but wandered off, as you do , but fun to do this one with lots a layers of pictures and die cuts..

This day I started with gathering leftovers and cutting down 12x12 papers, printed pictures off the net and just getting organised for masculine projects which I make quite a few of as well..

and also went old school with a glue stick, very economical and when it all dries it gives a nice crunch to the papers, I love that feel, like old day scrapbook using magazines..

Layers all done using 12x12 and the picture as well.. edges all inked up.

Die cut this set of MB trees and inked a bit of black ink shading along the edge..

Sorted out my design..

DONE.. looks a bit splotchy here but IRL the ink spread out and soaked in it is quite smooth..

So do come join us..

Thank you so much for stopping by,
I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Amazing, Chrissy! You are the best at making masculine cards (but this would do for anyone who loves animals).

A fabulous and masculine result. I love your description of paper being crunchy after it being glued with a glue stick, something I've never been aware of, I must try it.
