Hello everyone,
It is 4.30am while I'm typing this post, I could not sleep last night, I had a stupid song in my head, and of all songs it is the one from Mary Poppins that the kids sing while reading their version of what a nanny should be to their father, where the heck did THAT come from..so annoying..
I think also that I was worried I would sleep in, the other day the courier arrived and was saying, Hello, hello, and I was still snoozing..and I am expecting something...my glue has arrived in the country..yay!!..
I have another masculine card to share...
My friend Annie sent me these serviettes a long time ago and just getting into them,
and they are fun to play with..
After gluing then down onto 12 x12 cardstock and the cutting them into sizes,
I stenciled paste onto them.
Then let navy ink drizzle down when paste was dry.
Before and after.
Added a wave border..
and had to make my navy cardstock matt..
By edging white card stock with my marker..
Time to smoosh colour onto my light house, my new favourite die set..
Antique Lined distress ink..
Then skipped a step!! It was Ground Expresso.
then the old green colour..Mowed Lawn..Done..
The ships wheel, I could have cut it in brown and aged it,
but my mind was somewhere else..probably on the roof top with a chimney sweep..ha ha ha.
Wheel done ,and I added some moss [green flower soft]
The anchors turn..
I struggle photographing this one..but it came out pretty good..
Needs spray..
TH metallic spray..
So, all elements together ready to go..
and started making my cluster..
Camera was being a real jerk yesterday,
too bright and don't know how to change it.
Added a DAD up the top and nothing else, will give option tags inside
for whoever wants it can add their choice..
So, there we go..
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Will be back later with DT or two..
Luv CHRISSYxx

Great seaside theme. It is weird how things get stuck in our heads.
If you are talking about the Nuvo glue that is good news, I was hoping they hadn't quit selling it.
Really brilliant nautical themed card for a dad! I love the texture that you've created with the wonderful background as well as the different elements you've added! Sometimes that happens with my sleeping too and I always end up paying for it in the following days! LOL!! Hope you can sleep friend!
I just hate those nights when sleep doesn't come easily and all sorts of weird and wonderful thoughts pop into my head and won't leave me alone! Sleepless nights were never a problem when I was working and busy all day!
A fabulous nautical card Chrissy- you've made great use of the paper napkin!
