Hello everyone,
I made this card a few weeks ago and it has found it's way to it's new home, so now I can share it..
Decided on a gate fold card with extra layers..
So it can open a bit more like a bifold book..
cut panels in craft..
and music papers../.
Glued inked and distressed..
Inside and sitting up pretty..
Outside all covered too...
Now adding papers..BUT..
This is a flip panel and have papers and a pocket underneath..
and it closes up nice and neatly..
but, oh oh..brads things that rip your fingers open, need to fix that..
so took care of that problem with music themed papers..
then time for stickers and stamps and just anything that I came across to fill it all up...
I have hundreds of stamps, stickers and others..
and flowers stickers, washi ones,
they are just so pretty and don't add more bulk..
So here we are with stickers everywhere..
and butterflies need to come and play too..
and on they went beautiful monarch butterflies were called for here..
added more flower stickers here and there
Pulled out the tag to write on..
Before posting I'm sure I change to ribbon to something flatter
as it was fairly bulked up with that suede cord..
and done..

Someone got a real keepsake card here Chrissy, so many sides and so much to see, I got a bunch of that suede cord, as you know and its gorgeous, but, as you mentioned can be a touch on the bulky side, gorgeous though. xx

WOW Chrissy this is absolutely amazing and I know because it has been in pride of place on the mantelpiece since it arrived early and will stay there for quite a while! Yes you did change to ribbon too, I hope you don't mind but I so loved it I had a go and made one-not as large and impressive as yours but really pleased with it. Thank you so much for the card and the inspiration.

Wow that is just stunning, I am sure she was totally thrilled with it. I love the kraft and music paper together and your other papers are so pretty to compliment it. The stickers are so pretty and go with it just perfectly!
