SPRING HAS SPRUNG

 Hello everyone,

Well, the unpredictable Spring is here, 23oC one day 15oC the next, blowing a gale them just too calm to be be relaxed, what is in store next, I shudder to think, but the vegetable gardens are planted out with corn, peppers, lettuces, chillies, broccoli, cauli and cabbage..and cucumbers..the lemon tree as baby as it is has buds, so all is well over here..

I made a fun project the other day or week, as some new dies  arrived and you just have to use them straight away..I made a booklet, of course I did, and this one  is called" The Plan "..

The plan was, I had no idea to start with..I just cut some panels, or left over panel
of manilla folder in kraft colours, and put some papers on it..

and stared at it for too long......then the postie came, or courier came..

new papers and dies, how exciting, then I had an idea..

so I made more pages and pockets and added numbers all over the place..
these are kraft envelope I had and make instant pockets..

printed out building plans, cut all sorts of things out and sorted out stickers I needed to use, for my
" Story".. then  I built my booklet..

I LOVE this big alphabet die set and I cut my letters out 4 times the last
one being in patterned paper and added them on top of more building plans....

Pockets here with screw closures which are punched dots in silver then a
black marker line down the middle..

Added my stickers, after inking them a bit to bring down the white edges..

The cover with my new tie dies,
I cut them then added another colour behind
as all those dots come out and you can see through them..
I fussy cut the hat from a magazine..

Pocket full of plans and house pictures and all the  investors having discussions about this building project..

We have the property broker and building inspector..

The bank manager and building specialist having a chat..

Ready made pockets, I have not put anything inside these..

another pocket with plans and beautiful homes photographs..

The potential buyer..

another pre made pocket with lots of stamping and numbers..

This is the back, I never touched it as the papers are so busy and I loved them..

and back to the front..

So there you go, something that kept me entertained when I'm not sure what I want to do..

Thank you so much for stopping by, hope the weekend is going well for you all, I'm on the last of it now, Sunday evening and cooled down nicely for sleeping..

See you tomorrow..

luv CHRISSYxx

Bragging rights...

The weather here is doing my head in, its either cold and pouring or to hot to breathe or blowing a flippin gale, haha, heaven knows what the winter will bring, maybe the summer we never got this year...happy days..xx

Looks like fun entertainment to me, those can be the best kind because you have no one in mind just creating. Like how you gave all the gentlemen titles of what they do :) Great papers too, I have a hard time covering them up too, some papers are just works of art unto themselves! Wonderful project!
