Hello everyone,
That was a fun and fabulous fortnight sharing all your beautiful projects, but a new fortnight is about to start for " As You Like It " and Lynne is your hostess and the theme is " RIBBON OR TWINE "
For me, twine, I love my twine, especially for tying up my booklets....
Which is what I was making here..using up a scarp of kraft card..
glued together to make it longer, but still only 5 inches deep..
I turned in the ends and made my pockets and inked the edges..
used papers as well to make pockets and my black label die cut
with a brads for decoration.
and started filling up the pockets with left over scraps
cut into tag shapes and labels..
I had also lined the inside as the colour was off, and it looks better..
and used the rest to cover the back.
I made tab tops on the labels in black.
then numbers..
die cut numbers and stickers
and some printed on the papers..
an old number plate that I printed out and fussy cut at least 50 times..
so now I have loads of them ready to go in my stash..
Great number plate..
then I started stamping, all over the tags and added tags tied with suede twine..
I love all these stamps that look all office type and numbers,
postage, travel etc..
and then this baby was all tied up with suede twine..
So do come and join us HERE
So there you go.
.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Luv CHRISSYxx.

Such a cool booklet you've made here again my friend! I love how you've added the fun pockets with the tabs and labels on them! the papers work so nicely with this theme too! Yes twine can be used in multiple ways!
You certainly have a great collection of stamps for your project, I love the black tabs against the kraft, and like how you use your numbers too! so cool!
I just love your ideas. Elaine
Fab booklet and I love how you used the tab to string the twine for the closure. xoxo
Wow that is gorgeous!! You have such great ideas Chrissy and making these folios can be so addictive!!
This is right down my alley, Chrissy. Take a look at my new LRW make. I love all the details and you are so right, those stamps are just yummy!
Oh, LOVE this one, Chrissy! That vintage look is striking (and all your embellishments make it so special). What I like, too, is your color scheme. The darker tones make it seem vintage, and yet...modern.
