MYSTICAL CREATURES FOR LITTLE RED WAGON..DT

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, the weeks are flying by and it is time for a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON  where our lovely Team member IMKE  is our hostess with the fun theme.....

MYSTICAL CREATURES..how fun..

I charged right in for this one..and lots of photos, sorry..

I started with this beautiful resin Unicorns head from The Resin Embellishment Shop

Painted it with waxes and stuff, why, I do not know..

I had to layer and muck around for ages to make it look presentable..

So started on the background..white Gesso onto 8x10 grey cardboard off the back of a pad.

Texture paste..

When dry, the sprays came out..holding my breath here..

Nice, I liked it..

Just kept adding layers of colour...

And ended up with this, sort of a wood grain effect...moving on..

Die cut ovals and frame...

Inked it up with vintage photo ink spray..

then added my unicorn...

Back to the background..adding darker sprays and half a bottle of crackle paste stuff..

 This happened, oh! so happy..

On went my Unicorn and some flowers from my stash...

Just kept adding flowers and tiny white prills..

I lightened up the unicorn too, just a tad.

Then stopped and left it alone..

So there we go, thank you so much for stopping by..
I will see you tomorrow..
