DECORATING...

 Hello everyone,

What is your favourite way to decorate a gift card or wallet, because we have a new challenge using that theme over at  AS YOU LIKE IT  " Favourite way to Decorate gift card/wallet"..

This is my way..

I started with a load of backgrounds, many have been used by now of course and I've probably shown you projects with them..

This one got the texture paste treatment through a stencil...

This one got blotches of red spray after being squeezed through an embossing folder..

another stenciled one, a rose this time...

sand these two had sort of patched worked on them as I ripped them...

I can be brutal in my craftroom..

and these are the ones I went with...

Oop's, that didn't work!!

so went with a border die instead, and liked it a lot better..

Managed to cut the papers to the right size, no mishaps here...yet!..

Then glued them in place on my wallet...

Added the button for a pretend closure and also added leftover die cut leaves..

See...worked  out quite well..

But earlier on I had to hold everything down with strong clips as I left to room to get lunch,

 came back and the panels had flown off..

the backside the same....

but it all dried and stayed together, and I put money in it,

 then took it out and put it back in my purse..
