Was asked to make a Wedding card with a difference for a couple who live in Switzerland and to share a bit of New Zealand with them..
This is what I came up with..without going off the track too much..
A Fantail, a gorgeous native bird of NZ..
also a Kiwi, a recognized bird of NZ.
A Paua shell...
and a Bush scene..all of the net...
My resin Bride and Groom..
Then loads of die cuts and fussy cutting...
I used tiny flower die and cut out Paua shell flowers...
Laid things out and nearly went with it...
Added a die cut branch for the Fantail to sit on..
Some say they are good luck...others not so much...
The tiny flowers scattered on the bush floor...
with die cut grass and plants [sea coral actually]
added moss here and there as there is tons of that in our bush
growing on trees and logs etc..
The happy couple..
I ended up hiding the Kiwi as he would not have been out and about,
he is tucked in behind the ferns on the bottom right corner..
Dimensional for sure, but not too much.
And there we have it all done..
I really enjoyed making this card, made my brain work..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you tomorrow..
