Hello everyone,
I had my Honey Bee Bugs Die set arrive and had to play straight away..what great dies..I love bugs and things..Mr. Dragon Fly is first up..
I die cut his wings out with some plastic packaging that my batteries came in..
and coloured on the negative side...
The body with black card stock, twice, and glued them together...
The body went on top of the wings...
And all glued up ready for bling...
So pretty and the wings now flipped so the right side is up and the colouring is underneath..
They look like stain glass wings..
He neede to be with cone flowers..purple ones and a lolly stick fence...
The cone flowers were dipped in ink and loads of water..
as was the background, then a thick layer of embossing paste..
Mr. Dragonfly placed up top..
And there's the card all done..

Puppy update, they had a much better night,
the vet said yes to a top up of formula, so that was done and they slept until 6am..
The Mum has just had enough, apparently some females do this and she only gives them what she thinks is enough..but it isn't so top up feeds from now on..
Gosh, there is so much to learn and has definitely put my Daughter off from letting Mayo have anymore..

I have a brooch looking very similar to your own made dragonfly. It looks fantastic!
Your dragonfly came out beautifully. I really want to try this now!! The whole card is just stunning Chrissy! Those puppies sound like hard work lol. I struggle with my 15 year old puppy lol.
Wow, your dragonfly is absolutely brilliantly done Chrissy! I must remember to save things and use them as you do! I would end up saving it and then wonder later why the heck I saved a battery packaging !LOL Your finished card turned out beautiful with the purples and daisies! Love it friend!

Love the gems you added to the body of the dragonfly, looks fantastic and I love the whole scene you made to add him too. love the coloring on the flowers.
Poor Momma sounds like she has had it with the feedings, more work on you all though, we had to do that with our kitten that was born under our deck, feedings in the middle of the night, wow that was a few very tired weeks till he could eat solid food.
