Thursday today and time for a new fortnight challenge over at AS YOU LIKE IT and the theme is your favourite....
TRADITIONAL OR CONTEMPORARY XMAS... and not to forget to tell us WHY?
Mine is Traditional..I know I make all sorts of things in different ways, but when you add the word Favorite, well it is traditional.
My project...
I started by opening my Christmas container [30LT]
and started pulling out, pompoms, ribbons, pretty stuff..
Did some very basic measuring, and also use my last sheet of this paper..
Ribbon pom pom too..the big pompoms were from "My Lady"..
These vellum poinsettias were even in my stash..
The peg with a star and I added a brass/gold snowflake.
Pine needle leaves and berries...
I needed a bird, these are pigeons, but to me they are sort of dovey!
Cut him gold card and he works..
This gorgeous picture was off the net, and I added gold nuvo drops to it's center..
Dimension.....for sure.
And there she is..big and bulky and beautiful..[ just like me!]

Fabulous card, love all the trimmings. You must have a huge Christmas box! Traditional cards are always my fave, too. Big, bulky and beautiful - sounds like me, too! Hugs, Valerie

Your card design is so stunning Chrissy! I just love the splatter over your poinsettia image and the pom pom trimming really dresses it up nicely too!
Beautiful. Love that huge pom pom trimming together with the fab poinsettia with the splatters. Big and bulky and beautiful.....lol

Oh wow that is just fantastic, love the pom pom border, the gorgeous vellum flowers to go with your main image, the birds do look like doves and the gold splattering is a lovely touch to it
