GIFT BAGS..

 Hello everyone,

Sunday afternoon while I'm typing, my chicken is cooking and smells sooooo good..yum!

Time to share my gift bags, really simple this year, I'm over seeing them laying on the floor and the loot removed and just neglected, well, that is how I see it. The little kids seem to like them to hold their stuff..

Now, although I said simple, and it was, I still manage to have a load of photos and steps to make these happen..

Die cut trees, this is quite a big Marriane Creatables die set..

Water paints.. step 1

Step 2 - ruler showing the tree is 6 inches..

Step 3

Step 4

And eek, what a mess.. to clean..
spray the whole lot with water and press handy towel [ paper towel] down and wait,
do it again and you have a near new paint set..

They are all dry..

and glued onto pre bought brown paper bags with handles..

Under my cuttlebug plates until they all dry..

Added along the bottom white card stock for snow..
free hand cut, if I remember correctly, so much quicker..

Set up my BIG water paint splatter station..

and gave them the works..

Three extra, I can't count.

Rightio, all dry, ready for the next step..

Presents..
no die cutting, just free hand read and green squares, lots of them

and gold pen to make the crisscross like ribbons.

Die cut heaps of Merry Christmas sentiments..
RED?

WHITE?..

Went with white..

Glued them in place..

and added my own red marker dots on the tree..

Time for the presents, added some striped squares too
as the red and green were flat..

There they all are..

I don't know why I make things difficult, but tying these tiny bows was a nightmare..
But did it,,

Holly played with the string and just popped in to say hello..

Yikes, that's a dark photo, not sure what I was trying to show here....bad photography?
oh, maybe the sparkle of the glue snow..

So there's all the bags lined up..

and with their tags that I shared a while ago now..
and bows of satin ribbon [another nightmare] on the handles,
all festive and ready to go..

Thank you so much for stopping by..

I'll see you tomorrow..

Luv CHRISSYxx

GULP! WOW! Chrissy, you certainly are a glutton for punishment, but what a fabulous result, I love them. SO much so, I may even do a case on your bag, it would certainly make a difference to sort through the pressies, as I pop one into each bag. Super Duper bags and beautiful too.

Oh, these are sooooooo pretty!!! What a nice way to give your gifts!!! Much better than wrapping paper that gets ripped and thrown away (since most wrapping paper isn't recyclable). These can be kept and even reused. I like making gift bags myself, but I've never made so many at one time. I' so impressed. Bravo!
