MY LAST TAGS..

 Hello everyone,

Finally used up my leftovers, last of my card board box flaps, small ones this time, and gave my bench a real good clean, already to fill up the trays again with as many die cuts as I can..

So these are the smallest tags as they were off the ends of the boxes..

This is the size difference...

So again, gesso with dry brush and out with the washi tape,
such a quick way to fill up a background.

Subtle, but there..

Out with ephemera butterflies [ Tim Holtz ]

Tried to match the pairs, big and small and cut the white edge off, they annoyed me today 😀

Put them in place and glued and added some left-over leaves
 in pale mint colour.

After trimming off the over the dies bits, they were done...

And there you go..

Thank you so much for stopping by..

I'll see you tomorrow [ Friday]

OH! I am really loving what you do with cardboard and gesso, when my circumstances change here, I will have to try this. You are such inspiration Chrissy. As for the weather, Yep! We have had much the same, it's been awful here for months too. However, we are in Winter, and it can be expected, the weather all around the world has been screwy the last few months. Hope it improves before Autumn for you.

Hello from Seattle! What a great idea on using the box flaps. I often look at those and think how perfect they are for something....! ;-D

that does make for a great mixed media background and I like how you found butterflies big and small to go together.

fantastic tags Chrissy. Love the embellishments you used. And our summer certainly hasn't been the best, but hubby said the beach was lovely today and the water warm when he went for a swim.

Love the card board tags. Itʻs such a fun base to work on and youʻve made yours gorgeous with those lovely butterflies. Isnʻt it funny how some days that white boarder isnʻt annoying and other it absolutely has to go? Napier looks beautiful. I think we will finally get a little taste of our winter (and I use the word very lightly) this week as we are suppose to see lower 60ʻs (F) at night in the next day or so. Iʻm looking forward to it.
