Hello everyone,
A retirement card today, easel, male, loves flowers and gardening..
Started this one with die cutting garden tools..
Then flowers and boots...but cut the flowers off the boots.
Now layering the boots up to make then thick..
Coloured with markers...
Cut the tools out of brown card stock and paper pieced them
back onto the silver [ metal..]
Printed a picture out..
and built the easel letting the fence, flowers and sentiment do the propping..
Die cut the word retirement.
added some secateurs.

something missing, it wasn't grabbing me..
Water coloured these flowers and added a yellow center..
then I knew..a dragonfly..
And that is what I added, and it made me happy, a beautiful die cut and colourted Dragonfly.
It just seemed to bring the background forward a bit, in a manner of speaking..
So there we go..

A fabulous retirement card Chrissy, it's a lovely focal image and your die cut tools and wellies embellish it perfectly- love the beautiful dragonfly, brought back a lovely memory of a too-warm day last summer- I was reading, peacefully, in the shade when the most beautiful dragonfly appeared from nowhere, I sat and watched it for ages before Marvin decided to try to catch it...that ruined the peace!
