SPRING OR FALL {AUTUMN}

 Hello everyone,

Here we are into a new week and not really dsure where the last one went..but it is here, and time for a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon  whre the lovely IMKE is hostess and her theme...SPRING OR FALL {AUTUMN}..

I'm going into Autumn now, and it is my favourite time of the year, all the golden brown and red leaves with yellow and orange lurking on the trees still, and the dried up leaves all ready for stomping on under the trees, love that sound of the crunch, crunch, crunch,  but it used to make my mother cry when she was small, she hated any type of noise, bless her.

So, onto my project...FALL/AUTUMN

I decided on this beautiful frame set from Tonic Studios card kit ..

The base is mirror card stock in copper..

The frame of leaves and vines in a lightish orange..

and the top frame in matt gold.

HI!....

I used kraft [office manilla folder] to cut out the leaves..

Then they were sprayed..

and sprayed...

and sprayed..

Then cooked half to death with heat gun, on high, to make them warp..

I made or sprayed two panels for my background..

With copious amounts of gold paint splattered on..

So all my elements were ready..

Ooo..yummy..

and my layers went on..

and then just had to have bird nestled among the leaves..

with black dies cute behind him and his copper winges shining away..

I'm quite sure he was sitting there at night time which gave him that lovely shine or glow..

Nice amount of dimension, but still easy enough to post..

And there we are, all done.

No sentiment as I'm not sure what to put there yet..
