MUSHROOM AND BUNNY..

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, the days are flying by, family in and out and off overseas, the weather can't make up it's mind, with all the confusion, I made it, I have a post.

I'm so glad you liked my last post with the mushrooms, Facebook sure did, so here's another one...with a bunny.

These mushrooms are so much fun and easy to put together..

I must admit I like the brown stems than these grey ones a bit better, or simply using the wrong grey,
to me it's too dark

The bunny is so cute and is from spellbinders.
two layers....done.

The background, I LOVE making these backgrounds,
with Holly's help of course, no show without punch.

Mmmm..you just sit there, I'll work around you..

Making the bark...but only with paint this time...first layer..
Yellow ochre.

second layer...red ochre

Third layer....mid brown.

Fourth layer...dark brown..

Final layer, I add a touch of black..
when painting this, the brush is ever so lightly on the board..

[sigh]

Time for a shove..I went and rattled the biscuit box, that got her running..
nothing worse than a white tail in your paint or fur on your project..

Leaves and grass die cut and shadowed up a bit..
okay...splattered, a lot.

Everything put together..

Love the white dots using Nuvo stone drops..they are very dimensional.

Close up of the bunnies, I gave them eyes.

and done..

Thank you so much for stopping by,
I'll see you for a DT project on Wednesday..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Love this woodland wonder chrissy and so pleased to see that Holly narrowly avoided a bark coloured tail!! xx

What a "fantastical" creation, Chrissy! So glad you didn't bother Miss Priss too awfully much, with your crafting LOL - That background bark is amazing. I'm surprised your helper didn't try using it as a scratching post, it looks so real! I am in love the darling little layered mushrooms! So much dimension in their layering. As always, it is fun visiting your blog, and enjoying your crafting process (and helper). hugs, de
