I had a call yesterday out of the blue that a friend of mine from many years ago is coming up to Napier, very vague about what is going on, which has made me nervous, but by the time late afternoon today { Sunday} comes round, I will know..bit worrying..the messaging is vague, never mind, today I'm sharing "Ants"..
these were the simplest of die cutting..
Die cut the ant, add a black pupil on the white bit and glue the
eyes in place...done.
Next up, strawberries, coloured with markers..
Leaves also coloured and using a different colour combo,
jury is out on that.
Joined up the strawberries and leaves and added tiny white flowers..
Then the grass, love this new die, curvy grass, you all need curvy grass..
Picking out spots for the ants..
Once they were nestled in the strawberries were plopped in..
added some clouds..
and done...
no rhyme or reason for this card, I was just playing..
but I think it came out cute..
So, there we go..

LOVE the ants, I really mean that, they have always fascinated me, so this card is just wonderful, and the strawberries are yummy, the leaves look very realistic, I always like a bit of shading.

It came out so very cute, the strawberries look yummy and the ants even look cute although the ones in my house aren't quite so cute, glad they have left for awhile :)
